...The U gains not having to go to the Wildcat, since in this group of QBs no one else has gotten themselves ready to compete for the job for two seasons now.
Everyone takes it out on Rosier - **** even Richt said he'd never play - yet here he is in year 3 as the only guy who still gives the program "The best chance to win" - notice Richt isn't saying what that chance is. But Rosier, at least has himself in that position with all his limited skill set - and that's all he can do. Now that right there speaks volumes about where the U has been, what it failed to address, and what it is stuck with, when it comes to this collection of not so useful QBs.
How the **** does a QB get suspended, let alone two of them? The Ohio State Q was reportedly cheating and he didn't get a slap on the wrist. I'm not sure I've ever heard of QB(s) getting suspended but at the U, from what it sounds like, they've had some overlapping suspensions of QBs - that's pretty limiting when you need to groom one. Not a good look if you're depending on them leading a team.
Someone shoud have picked up those character flaws on the recruiting trail. Its not like a D-Lineman, or LB or RB, that you can play off some occasional bad behavior; its the QB who is the face of the program - most of ours are wearing Freddy freaking Krueger masks.
