I want to be wrong about being wrong on Golden, but unfortunately that doesn't look like it's going to happen. Regardless, and sadly, I will still watch and go to the games, have fun at the tailgate, drink my bottle of Dewars 12 and smoke my Espinosa Cigars (yes shameless plug, what the **** do you expect? I am the National Sales Manager for Espinosa Cigars) and sadly hope that I am wrong about being wrong about the staff. Even though I now know I am wrong about Golden.
No I don't take the stance that you guys do, which is you seem to think you know more about the game of college football than these guys do, you nor I don't, and I have been watching and learning from the experts intently for over 30 years. We don't know the nuances and inside aspects of the game as these guys who are in it for so long. Just cus you know terms and play Madden so well, or coach up to high school football does not make you an expert.
To use the Tom Olivadotti example, it's not that they don't know the game or don't have the knowledge, it is a simple mindset, a philosophy, a lack of conviction, mediocre coaches coach "scared to lose" they coach scared to give up the big play, they coach scare of ******** up, and that's what we have right now, a coach who is of that same ilk. And that is the results we are getting, sure we will get 9 wins, or 8 wins and maybe even consistently, but we will never attain the level we want, because the coaches who don't abide by that philosophy, the coaches who are aggressive, the coaches who take the risks, who coach going for the win instead of playing it safe so as to not ***** up, those coaches with the right talent get to that level. And sadly I have been proven wrong after watching that pathetic scared *** display on Monday night. To make matters worse I had to deal with that revelation in the heart of bucknut territory surrounded by bucknuts, I guess it was my penance.
