What do you think of Diaz's coaching staff?

Louisville got rid of him for ****** recruiting. No lie.

Miami fans are dumb af.
Agreed. Don’t hire someone you can’t fire. When he does a crappy job and fans are clamoring to get rid of him in comes Uncle Luke implying racism (I’m black FYI) and then you have a PR nightmare.

This goes for any former alum. We have to stop hiring guys that aren’t qualified but have ties to the program.

Honestly, offense is a little weak. A WR coach from AIR FORCE of all places? Not it. Lamar Thomas was begging for that job.. I'm a little worried but I guess we'll see what happens next year.

If we are running an RPO Stubblefield would be a good hire based on coming from a option offense. Just my opinion.

Instead he let Enos hire guys he knows.
Coaching is a fraternity, hire people ur familiar with, have coached with, and trust. Not much different than any other business. They **** up you fire them. Don’t hire someone you can’t fire. ( see CMR)

I hate the WR hire but I laugh at wanting Thomas he’s just as bad.

I'm pretty satisfied overall and really only question one hire. Dan Enos is among the best QB coaches in the country and is well respected in college football for his play calling and innovative Offensive mind. Stephen Fields is a home run hire with his contacts and ability to recruit. Hickson is respected in South Florida and has plenty of contacts around the country to help him succeed in Recruiting and he's coached some solid RBs to big seasons as a coach. I do question the Stubblefield hire more than anything. I just don't understand how it's a good hire? Not one of his WRs in d1 ever had more then 810 yards and I heard he was fired for struggling with recruiting in Utah. Overall I think it's a pretty solid staff and significant improvements on offense and the defense should be the same. What do you guys think ?

HC - Manny Diaz

OC/QB - Dan Enos
RB - Eric Hickson
OL - Butch Barry
WR - Taylor Stubblefield
TE - Stephen Field

DC/ILB - Blake Baker
Co-DC/S - Ephraim Banda
ST/OLB - Jonathan Patke
AHC/DL - Jess Simpson
CB - Mike Rumph

Recruiting- Doherty, Cooney & DVD
most here was wanting to hire butch Manny did hire a guy named butch.:ibis-roflmao-sm3::laughing-1::ttdg2m10mxvzxan.jpg:

I wanted Hartley to stay, but let someone else take over special teams duties. Other than that I'm ok with this staff and willing to see what they can do. Maybe Rumph could've gotten the boot if Ed Reed was really serious on twitter about coaching. I still can't forgive Rumph for missing on the two blue chip studs that played for him in high school that went elsewhere last year.

Bet if we give this staff some space and time to get could be very beneficial.things keep going like they have been don't think we have anything to worry about.except finding a way to keep these assistants.

I like it. Offense isn't flashy at the position coaches. However, I am not interested is a coach is a CIS All-Star. I care about the job they do. That won't be answered until after the season. Enos knows what he's doing though. He knows exactly what he wants in his staff. If these are the guys he wants........

Well since I ultimately don’t know ****, I think it’s pretty good on the surface level. Defense will be business as usual, and the offense has has a NFL caliber coach at OL, a star OC/QB guru , a respected RB coach, a recruiting specialist at TE . The “worst” surface level hire is at the WR spot and he’s like the Ncaa’s Top 5 or 6 statistical leaders..so..not too bad.

I give it a B+ /A-

Stubblefield worked for Enos at Central Michigan. I'll trust Enos' opinion over all of the naysayer posters. Plus he was a stud receiver at Purdue who lacked size and speed but was elite because of route running and technique, a Biletnikoff finalist. He's going to work out fine.

From first glance and my internet guru opinion I love all the hires except RB and WR. It just feels like there would have been coaches out there with better resumes for those two jobs. But time will tell.
