What Dan Enos means by "System don't win Championships"

...not more than the jimmies and joes..that’s my point

Completely untrue. LSU returned 8 starters from last year. Without a scheme change they would NOT be having the same level of success. That's a fact.

Talent alone is not enough. It's not the 80s anymore dude. It's not the land of "lets just line up and see who's got rhe better players" anymore. Those days are OVER.

Enos is just too much of a whistledick to admit his system is dated.

Systems on their own don't win championships, but you need someone that understands how to put the personnel he has on hand in the best position to win. You put a guy like Jarren in a true modern spread, that allows guys like JT4 to eat in space, and the offense is significantly better. If Enos understood that Brevin Jordan is a unique talent and getting him matched up in favorable positions should be a priority, this offense wouldn't be so dreadful on third down and in the red zone. If Enos understood that a team like FIU has been unable to stop the run ALL SEASON and committed to running the ball down their throats, Miami would have been able to beat FIU, like **** near everyone else did this season.

Enos is a garbage play caller, and I don't get how this guy is taken seriously. He's a bull**** artist, that was hired by another bull**** artist, end of discussion.

Where's the quote? Context? I can promise you he didn't say it like that in broken English.

My words as it is, he would be wrong though. Systems, different ones win championships at all levels. Coaches generally have the same base, but do adapt to personnel. There is no team that wins consistently doing the same things, with the same playbook, year in and year out though.
