Hold onto all our commits (neither here nor there on Dingle), and close with:

McFarland
Harley
Herbert
Slaton
Dean
Edwards
Conliffe

That's a realistic finish that would address our two urgent needs:

--Blue chip OLs that can play early
--influx of talent at DB (three EEs and a JUCO)

Other key spots filled:

--QBs with mobility
--Speed at WR (though not much depth)
--Homerun potential at tailback
--Keeping cupboard stocked in the front 7

That's a very good, well-rounded class that could be great if we land a few studs that are either off our radar or not leaning our way (e.g. CJ Henderson, Phidarian Mathis, Devonta Smith, Tre McKitty, etc...).

HERBERT AND SLATON.

McFarland is a silent commit so not point in discussing him. Dean would be a nice surprise.

HERBERT AND SLATON= Happy with class

RB - Anthony McFarland

WR -Mike Harley, and 1 more, preferably Devonta Smith

TE - Tre McKitty

OL - Slaton, Herbert

DL - Conliffe

CB - Edwards, Dean

If we land all these guys I will be very happy with the class. Otherwise, I will be at least mildly disappointed.

Man if we pull Devonta and McKitty that propels this into a great class.

Names 2-6 and all of our commits would be a good class.

It makes zero sense for Dean to go to Alabama, that will be another case of being benched behind 5 stars. I understand jeudy going but this will be this kids biggest mistake in 1. Already being slow played by bama 2. Coming in with a plethora of 4/5 stars 3. Only getting 2 years to learn the system and run away with a starting job. Way brighter opportunity at Miami.

Slaton and Herbert are MUSTs.

Seal it with Harley and I'm happy...add a Smith and I'm very happy.

To close out...

McFarland
Slaton
Herbert
Dean
Edwards
Harley
Conliffe
& a JUCO WR

Also, wouldn't mind a few transfers both Grad & kids who'll have to redshirt...

Obviously, missing on a lot of top prospects at WR & DB is still alarming, and whatever needs to be done to put a stop to that needs to start happening now... Because we can't afford for this sh*t to happen again for the 2018 class (although it probably will lol).

But seriously though, if we can't figure out a way to finish with at least a top 5 class for #Storm18 then there's something very wrong, Idc how you try to explain it...

We have to have a huge highly rated class in 2018, bottom line.

I feel like this is how we will close most likely although I promise we close we one more guy not many are talking about as we always do . WE got a great one today most weren't talking about and I don't think that will be all.If we could end with Smith or MCkitty it would lock up a top 10 class and make this our best class in ages but I do think we need to land one of those 2. Without one of those 2 this is still our best class since Shannon but I would give it a B+ only.

That's good. I would like a least one more quality receiver but I think that's a good finish.
