What are your predictions for the third starting WR next to Malin& Coop?

Agreed; plus, we never know when injuries can pop up. We likely will have five who earn 85% of the important snaps. If i had to choose a #3 WR I’d pick Moore.

We had 7 WRs who caught 7 passes last year. I feel safe in saying the 7 listed will reach that marker this year.

I feel like the three newcomers are the ones who are susceptible to having a down year are the newcomers. Upshaw is going to shake and bake his way into endzone. We prob won’t see Wingo until week 2. If we see Wingo week 1, we’re going to see him every week.

I look at RB and WR with similar questions of distribution of snaps and touches. So we’ll see how that goes.

Agreed. Especially since we don’t have a ton of options at tight end. WR 4 will play a lot.

We need Moore to replace Daniel’s size and ability to catch 50/50 balls with his size and physicality.
 
I’d love to have a 6’4 specimen consistently making plays, but when every single report coming out and being brought up by players is that Upshaw has been consistent and making plays I don’t really understand why everyone seems so determined to find someone else to be the 3rd guy.

Bama did just fine in 2020 without any receivers over 6’. Put guys on the field that you can trust to make plays.

Yup. Fans alway clamor for the guy who's 6'4 and runs a 4.4 40. But if a guy outperforms him, that's who you give the minutes to.

We'd all love to have Andre Johnson and Randy Moss out there. But just because a guy is 6'3+ and fast doesn't mean he's going to produce like those guys.

Forgot about that Bama group. Top 4 WRs all 6'0 or under.

To be fair, with 2020 Bama, when you have a RB score 26 TD’s in 13 games, you probably aren’t throwing a lot of fade routes in the EZ.

Of those 4 Bama WR’s, only 1 had over 1000 yards (Smith) and only 1 other (other than Harris and Smith) offensive player had more than 4 TD’s.

Zero insight to the situation but my immediate thoughts were someone and likely several kids were not gonna be happy with playing time, so if it’s because of that, I’m not surprised. That room is insanely deep. And I heard more than a few rumblings out of Morgantown that there weren’t a ton of people insanely upset about his departure. Had some very questionable work ethic concerns.

Again, no idea what happened here. Could be totally unrelated to either thing above. But basically, I’m not surprised at all. We have literally too many good players in that room.

I read that he was critical of Cristobal’s practice regimen.
