What Are we missing

QB and OL.

The rest of the pieces are just about there. Just need quality depth in most other spots.
 
Gotta stop putting ourselves behind in the first half of games. We all know the offense's woes, but our defense has not executed well in most first halfs. I don't know if its a scheme thing or if we're just coming out flat.
The talent is going to take care of itself in the next year or two, but these first half defensive performances are killing us.
 
To continue to improve. A long and honest evaluation of what we are doing on offense.
Better competition at all positions that leads to better options.
We can't forget where the program was two years ago.
 
(1) More classes like this one & (2) Better support staff - too many weak links learning on the job.
 
Our best running back, our best TE, our best WR, our most disruptive DT, and a stout DE just to name positions where we lost talent that is currently on our roster. We need much better OL play, better more consistent QB play, and a strong side LB that is more instinctive.
 
Elite level game experience.

Accurate QB.

Offensive playcalling that is elite.

Walton.

Defense that blitzes in all ways. Zone would have helped first half at times.

Time. We need 1 year or two.

Clemson is elite of our conference. We are a distant second.

OL frustrates me. We brought in highly touted kids in KC Darling and Tyree and then they don’t pan out. They were scouted and ranked highly by all services yet here they don’t cut It. Why is that? I just don’t want to keep seeing these top kids come in and then junior year we see they ain’t all that great.

OL, QB, Dynamic WRs . We have some guys who are cool but nobody is dominant that puts speed with physicality. CBs who are ballhawks
 
QB and beliif that we can win

Pitt took out unbeatable moxy away.... the QB missing WIDE OPEN WRS sealed the game for us

Most of what we need will come from recruiting. My only real concern is that there's some intangible missing from this team. They lack the ability to execute all the time. They never got going tonight, but even in our wins the team usually only played half the game. Whatever it is that keeps them from playing 60 minutes of football needs to be purged. Other than that, recruiting will fix what ails us.
 
You Richt Nut Swingers need to stop ignoring the truth. We need a head coach that is willing to make necessary changes to improve our staff and program. Talent will not fix a mediocre Staff. Mark richt is a mediocre play-caller. If we want to be great we need a great play caller.

I did not say that. I am suggesting that he make the necessary changes to improve the program. For instance, Rick lacks creativity as a play-caller. We can improve in that area. But, he's going to continue to run his Bland predictable offense until he passes it along to his son.
