What are the players thinking on that play?

I get it, coaches royally screwed up, but isn’t there at least one player on the field who’s thinking, wait a minute, we can just kneel this…

I’m sure calling your own play isn’t something a college kid is gonna do to defy his coaches, but **** at least call a timeout and then go talk to the coaches and ask what the **** we’re doing…

Why just go along with it? Did everyone on the field completely lose their mind in that moment?

Probably Lee…

Dumbest coaches and players in the country by far. Been like that for years.

I am a broken record on this, but there are so many threads saying the same thing so **** it... The only thing that makes sense to me is they knew they could run it out, but decided to run a play anyway (erhaps to get Chaney over 100 yards?).

Really doubt anyone wants to question Mario and risk the dog house
I get that part, but you’re not going in the dog house for calling timeout, just say you wanted to make sure you had the call right…

I’m not saying this isn’t the coaches fault, but man everyone on our sideline had to fall asleep at the wheel for this to happen..

TVD should have taken a knee. Chaney should have taken a knee, or at least gained a few yards and then go down, not fight for extra, meaningless yards. Kitchens bit on the receiver's fake and got beat for the TD...let him catch the ball at the 15-yard line. Obviously, our players are just as stupid as our coaches!

Judging by the way Lee was hard down crying and losing it, along with some other OL players.. they were probably thinking the same dam thing..

100 yards for Chaney shouldn’t have even been thought about in that situation. If that’s what they were thinking. We all watched this game where anything and everything went wrong, ***** 100 yards for your rb, take a knee and get off the field with an ugly *** win. That’s all that had to be done and the royally fugged it up.
