We find our QB is Carson Beck and he is recovering from surgery after a less than perfect 2024. `
Darn, our great Field Goal kicker is gone and we brought in a "jerk" that missed more than he made yet he performs like a champion and is our unsung valuable player.
We are depleted at WR and then Toney performs like a Heisman Candidate, spectacular WR, Return Man, Running Back, QB and seeing him perform late in the season wishing they had used him like that earlier. We kept hearing how great he was in practice and one game he was MVP for scout team performance plus on game day.
The torture to lose to SMU in OT when it was obvious, we were the better team and then the catastrophe against Louisville.
Then our last games we looked like we were performing up to the talent on the roster in all aspect’s offense, defense, and Special Teams.
Now we wait, the season over or spectacular if we get to play. Too short a season for this talent and in my opinion, coaching cost us the SMU and Louisville games but when Dawson opened the play book every one stood up and we dominated as we should've all year.
I hope we get to play on...our season to brief and we saw enough greatness to expect more be it this year or next.
