A win yesterday and this outcome would have guaranteed us a spot in the playoff. Miami would have moved to #1 . We could have lost to Clemson and still be in. What a squandered opportunity.

Yep. We're going to have to stomp Clemson into Bolivia to get in now.
 
Pretty much its gonna be every major conference champ besides the PAC-12, we win and we're in. The only thing that changes that is if Ohio state bears wisky, do you put in bama or Ohio state?

I won't say it's a waste based on whether we can still get into the playoff, but it sure would have been nice to be no. 1 playing no. 2 Clemson in the ACC Championship game. How epic would that environment have been? Not to mention the gravitas it would have given the ACC as a conference.

Alabama wasted their chance today.

UGA wasted their chance.

Loser of the SECCG wasted their chance.

Same for ACCCG loser.

OSU wasted their chance TWICE, if can you believe it.

Tennessee wasted 8 of their chances this year.

How many mediocre or bad teams did we come within a hair's breadth of losing to? Easily could be 8-3 right now.
