Similar to the feeling we got in 2001 after the probation years. I never thought we would compete after that raping we took by the NCAA. Thank God for our 5th choice Head coach Butch Davis.

I know this is a potentially unpopular addition to this list, but my understanding is that we have to give a lot of credit to former Univ President Donna Shalala whose investment and expansion of the UHealth footprint has created solvency for the university which is making many of the athletic investments possible.
If I am wrong please correct me.

I don’t know about that one… he wins that game, it’s 6 straight wins. Manuel and Blake would’ve spun it as the program “is headed in the right direction” regardless of the bowl game outcome and unfortunately they would have been believed 🙄
