Not.

The amount of b*tching in reaction to Enos I've had to read is ludicrous. It's a solid win and instead we got a bunch of sorry old actual mañuelas crying.

We just stole the up and coming OC for Bama, but **** did Manny ***** up. What an idiot, poaching a guy from Saban he clearly had painted that wasn't an "insider" or board favorite, amirite?

For everyone following this line of thinking, allow me to suggest you consider the larger picture. And that is, Enos does not even have to pan out as a World Star for this to be a great hire. And we won't be able to judge that at all for awhile, precisely because *anyone* at all competent as an OC can instantly catapult this offense upwards from where the last staff left it. So rejoice, because the optics are good and an offensive boost is guaranteed.

Where Enos will actually be tested in his ability is in years 2 and 3. And if it pans out? Brilliant. Manny is a sniper, Enos goes HC after exceeding expectations, and the OC job becomes a white hot destination. If he fails? Unlike with the Apple rumors suggested, Manny didn't go and hire a friend. He witnessed last season first hand and knows better than anyone to be ready to hold the offense accountable, and not to let personal ties and stubbornness ***** a good thing up. He's not catching himself in that spot. So *worst case* he fires his ***, and the offense is still elevated from where it is or would be, and Diaz gains even more first hand insight into what does and doesn't work offensively here.

He's in it to win it, which is also why he wouldn't have made this hire without reaching an agreement with Enos on how this Miami O needs to look like, just as he voiced to us. Fast. Violent. So people harping on his history of pro style can stfu. Manny has demonstrated in his role as DC an ability to learn and adapt his scheme to his players, and I trust he can recognize and evaluate the presence of that skill in his peers. It's what defines a great coach.

Oh, and f*cking grab Hurts. If you don't think we'd have instant benefit adding a mature and proven winner and baller at the next level to the team to lead it with an OC he's worked with, you're f***** in the head. I believe Jarren is the **** truth, and he can take the first step in demonstrating it by making the easy af decision to learn first hand from two individuals who've been doing the playoff and NC game we trying to get ourselves to. He competes and learns from Hurts for a year while getting a years worth of actual coaching development, he could walk onto the field a cyborg if he wants to in 2020.

So bring in the comp at QB, and everywhere else while you're at it.

F**** the entitled diva players that have a problem with that, and f**** the entitled diva fans too.

It's time to ride with the Miami boy.

Stopped reading at the part where you said you’ve “had to read”. Somebody have a gun to your head? You need someone to call 911?

If not, STFU with yer *****in.

Unfortunately due to the nature and structure of the traditional online web forum which this site embodies, I typically have to drudge through a significant amount of garbage in the hopes of occasionaly finding a nugget of good insight into my Canes.

This past 48 hours has been the absolute worst in that regard.

Suck me.

Until we win games what Manny has done and I suspect will continue to do is all a bunch of hyperbole grabbed onto by a fanbase starving for any hint of a return to the glory years of Cane football

Right now everything Manny does in regards to the offense Is looked upon by this fanbase ,me included, like he has put us on a crash course next December /January with the CFB playoffs.

Yes all this is great because it’s shiny and new.But Until we win a few games, not against the Clemsons of the world but just the Duke’s,UVA,and BC’s of the world I’ll try and temper my expectations.

Seems Manny has us headed in the right direction.Great.We all ,well most of us,thought the same thing with Richt. But a fanbase is supposed to be excited when they get a new HC.Just dont set yourself up for a major letdown if your expectations include anything more than a Coastal Championship next year.We still have major holes to plug to compete with the upper echelon of CFB even with this majic portal helping to fill those holes.Im hoping that for the first time in 15 years we finally have a coach and an administration that are in synch to make us great again.

Guys have a right to question the hire.I did myself even though im getting close to that line to the other side. They have a right to question the coaches being hired.Weve gone through this 4 other times in the last 2 decades or so.Each time it ended in failure.

The old saying “ fool me once shame on you fool me twice same on me “ kind of applies here. We've Been fooled not once, not twice, not three times But FOUR TIMES in the last 15 years.Guys have a right to have questions.Theyre in the “ shame on me part of the old adage and maybe they’re just tired of it being shame on them”.

Let’s hope the fifth time is the charm.Im getting old so I sure as fck do.

I’d have to admit the Last 48 has been draining....

But on the bold part,.... you should check with @nystateofmind, he might have a couple of candidates for you... good luck!🍀

100%

Let's wait for the games and be cautiously optimistic is all im saying. This hire could be good or bad, as will others. Skepticism is fine and indeed waranteed. But anyone having anything to seriously complain about *so far* is wack.

Y'all better watch you gonna get nystateofmind all heated up.sprinkler alarms start going off he's flamming up so bad.

I fuc.kin hate the hire. South Florida has an abundance of fast athletes. The best way to utilize this resource is by creating mismatches. They best way to do that is through the spread. South Florida doesn’t have the personal to pound teams with the run.

Again, this hire is very underwhelming in my opinion.

Literally watched a top SoFlo receiver torment college football all year with Bama and Enos. What am I missing?
