What a bunch of C-R-A-P.

How to be a CIS poster:

1) Find college football-related list or ranking that does not have Miami at #1. Ideally, this list/ranking should have hundreds or maybe even thousands of different details and data points
2) Completely disregard the overall message and the spirit of the list/ranking
3) Search for and quickly identify one incorrect data point
4) Immediately invalidate the entire exercise
5) Complain about it on CIS, explicitly or implicitly suggesting anti-Miami bias

Not quite sure where you're going with that comment, but...
If someone is going to create lists of which schools produce the most talent at each position group, how thorough was the research if, arguably, the greatest pro player of that position group is omitted? I don't see that as just a minor oversight.

Secondly, if you would like to reply to me, do so.
I'd welcome the discussion.
No need to reply in such a passive manner.

Thanks in advance.

Apologies for not being more clear regarding my intentions. Nothing against you personally - a faceless person on the internet that I will never cross paths with - but I have no interest in replying to you or having a discussion on this topic. I do not care about this list, and care even less what other fans think about it. I rather mock the community of anonymous CIS posters as a whole.

I see.
But only a real ashhole would take the time just to mock faceless people who they'll never cross paths with.....just for the sake of doing so... no?

Miami should of joined the sec then we'd still be the best football team in America instead of the crappy acc

ESPN, ncaa, and the refs should all get drug tested and eye's examined! The refs cost Miami at least 2 championships over b.s. calls and then the following year they said they shouldn't of called em ,every corporation in college hates Miami and is against them
like jj used to say can't leave it in the refs hands.take of your business leave no doubt.we didn't do that.and after 18 years time to quit crying over spilled milk.while it up move on.

WR cracks me up the most. I mean ok let's go the Gators and noles on that list are jokes

Michael Irvin
Randall hill
Lamar Thomas
Reggie Wayne
Santana Moss
Roscoe Parrish
Andre Johnson
Allen Hurns

All guys who produced in the NFL and when it's all said and done Wayne and Johnson will join irvin as HOF
Eddie Brown needs to be on there.

Also, we had tons of productive college guys like Jammi German, Horace Copeland, Yatil Green...

We

To be honest qb,wr we really put any info the NFL lately.

QB I agree but if you read the article they started in 1998 so to not include WR is asinine AND to include FSU AND UF is even more ridiculous,,,, I posted in the other thread but worth repeating....

FSU they list Benjamin, Rashad Greene and Pete Warrick
UF is Percy Harvin, Andre Caldwell, and Antonio Callaway

Just for fun lets look at career stats.....
Benjamin: 0 pro bowls 209 receptions 3,021 yrds 20 tds, 1 - 1,000 yard receiving Season
Harvin: 1 pro bowl, 353 receptions, 4,026 yds, 22 td, 0- 1,000 yard seasons
Reggie Wayne 6x pro bowler, 1,070 receptions, 14,345 yds 82 tds, 8- 1,000 yard receiving seasons

Rashad Greene: 0 pro bowls, 30 receptions, 185 yards 2 tds 0-1,000 yard seasons
Andre caldwell: 0 pro bowls, 156 receptions, 1,509 yds, 11tds 0-1,000 yard seasons
Santana Moss: 1 pro bowl, 732 receptions, 10,283 yards, 66tds 4-1000 yard seasons

Pete Warrick: 0 pro bowls, 275 receptions, 2,991 yards 18tds 0-1,000 yard seasons
Antonio Callaway: 0 pro bowls, 43 receptions, 586 yards, 5 tds, 0-1000 yard seasons (this one is slightly unfair he was a rookie but still)
Andre Johnson: 7 pro bowls, 1,062 receptions, 14,185 yards, 70 tds, 7-1,000 yard seasons

Other "notable" Miami WR who outperformed all 3 of those schlups

Devin Hester: 4 pro bows, 255 receptions, 3,311 yards 16 tds, 0-1,000 yard receiving seasons
Allen Hurns: 0 pro bowls, 209 receptions, 2,964 yards, 23 tds 1-1,000 yard season
Travis Benjamin: 0 pro bowls, 202 receptions 3,113 yards, 19 tds, 0-1,000 yard seasons

WR/DB- ok

LB not even listed- WTF! Whoever @Espn did this needs to be taken out back by Vilma.

Dan Morgan, Jon Beason, Jonathan Vilma, D.J. Williams, Leon Williams, Rocky McIntosh, Denzel Perryman

Along with: Sean Spence, Armbriester, Armstrong, Chickillo, Grace

Not sure if Ray Lewis is allowed in based on years used.

On the RB side:
Duke Johnson, Lamar Miller, Mike James, and I'm sure I'm missing others.
