What’s the skinny on Jojo Trader?

I’m going to guess he isn’t motivated by negative reinforcement, which Mario loves. So he’s kinda emotional? 🤷

I don’t care if it’s Jojo, Moore, Upshaw or whoever, but we the production behind Toney and Daniels has been basura and we need to find a realiable third option, whether at tight end or receiver. We’ve gotten by ok so far, but going forward teams are likely to take the FSU approach and force us to throw.

It is not that hard to figure out. JoJo is being disciplined for something, don’t know what it is but he has been disciplined by denying playing time, Look at all the signs…
1. He was the most talked about WR coming out of the Bowl Game and Spring Practices
2. He played some snaps against ND but had no catches to speak of.
3. Suddenly he disappeared from sight. He didn’t even show up on the sidelines to 2 straight home games.
4. After BS injury rumors, Mario says in multiple interviews that he is healthy and will be available to play.
5. He continues not to get on the field.
6. Mario suddenly changes the message saying he has to earn his snaps on the practice field.
7. He is finally in uniform at FSU but doesn’t play.

These are all signs of a Coach handing out discipline for some type of transgression. I will not speculate about what the issue might be but the signs are obvious. JoJo is too talented to give up on and I hope whatever the issues are, they get worked out. I hope we see him get to show his ability on the field as there is a lot of football left to play. I am rooting for him to succeed.

This post is pure nonsense

1. He wasn’t by far the best WR in spring camp

2. His issues are not injury related

But go ahead and cook
I mean maybe TODAY the issues causing him not to get PT aren't injury related directly. But surely its possible that the current issues are the carry-over effects from the injury and him not handling the recovery process well. By all indications he was the best WR in spring and staff expected a big season from him, then gets injured and misses a lot of valuable time with Beck to build chemistry and confidence, then he gets passed up and has gotten no pt basically since. I assume he just didn't handle the rehab and post-rehab process well and maintain his focus, and after that setback dropped him on the depth chart he isn't reacting the best to it. Obviously that's all on him, and its up to every player to overcome the injury obstacles they face. But I think it's also entirely possible that had he not gotten injured and he'd have a full offseason practice with Beck then he almost certainly would be getting substantial PT as at least a top 3 WR in every game thus far and not have the "head in ***" problem everyone says he has...

And also in the limited snaps he did actually play this year - against ND, he got one target on the deep ball that he had no shot at basically, then was actually putting a lot of effort into blocking hard...

Wide receiver, number three spot has already been locked up by somebody, his name is Marion. Not Jojo.
Marrion hasn't played NEARLY well enough to be saying this lmao. He's been fine. He does not having anything locked up by any means though. The only 2 Wrs that have spots locked up are Toney and Daniels. The others can all rotate in and out. Marion is a useful weapon for sure. He's not some stud deep threat though. He's been better short and with yac or on like screens/end arounds.

I will bet on Trader becoming the definite WR3 by the end of the year. Marrion will be a useful weapon still. And Josh Moore should get rotation.

Literally all I said was that I disagreed with @JHallCanes comment about all his hype came from just one play in the Bowl game. Regardless of who/where the information came from, he was 100% getting a lot of hype in spring ball. At the end of the day, there is still an opportunity for Trader to have a role in this offense. Every day, people on here have been hoping someone steps up and locks down that WR3 spot — now’s the time.

I ain't got a horse in the game, but that's not what you said. This is though:
"Ummm, he was definitely the best WR in spring camp."

Gloryhole got him
It's got me a time or two at random parties in the Hollywood hills too... Incase Kim Kardashian and crew are reading on here, technically I'm not violating our nda... Jojo is gonna have some of y'all looking real ****** boo boo like though for the people counting against him.

This is cap. There was absolutely no talk of him getting passed until he got injured in fall camp. Then all these rumors started. Before that the talk was like him and toney was the best 2 wrs. The talk all spring was about how good trader was looking and the work he was putting in
Believe what you want, but in summer, he was getting passed by the younger guys before he even got hurt.

If you’re betting on trader on that, that’s a losing bet. That much I can tell you.

so why did Mario give him #1 if he was on his to 3rd string wr
Who gives a **** about a number one Jersey, seriously man who cares. Point is this, he’s not putting the work in at practice and he’s not doing the behind-the-scenes stuff you need to do to play on the field for this team. Those are the facts. You don’t wanna believe it, then believe whatever you want.
