What’s the skinny on Jojo Trader?

Look, I don’t have much time to listen to a podcast.

I honestly have never seen people worry about guys that havent earned playing time more than this situation. If said player wants to get on the field, earn it
I think it has to do with a bunch of factors (was a top recruit who shined in collab with a cfb superstar who was high school teammate, Ward said he had next and guys who run this site talked him up until now they switch up, Bowl game which is a showcase for next year he scored in the only real glimpse we have seen, spring he was getting talked up and flying around making plays, we KNOW for fact Cristobal values who wears #1 and jojo earned that in offseason, he was looked at as starter and practicing well, gets injured in practice and said he would come back, now same guys saying he looked good are switching up and now he not doing enough to get on field.)

Its hard to put toothpaste back in tube when he was sold as guy in offseason and now he cant buy a rep? People will want to know, especially those who follow local high school ball and know the talent. Dude was ranked as a top prospect since his soph year at central when he scored on both side of ball in state title game.

Could well be a major factor as season rolls along. Just think Mario is a tough SOB & making him win back playing time from guy/guys who filled in for him.

I would argue that the majority of the hype came in the Spring, which is justified because he was by far the best WR in camp. To me, it seems like the small injury he had in fall camp rattled him a bit. Mentally, it's probably not clicking for him at the moment
Spring which wasn’t seen by 99% of this board.
Spring which was 99% rumors.
Spring against guys you already know their weaknesses
Spring against a new DC and ~6 new DBs
Spring pratciSe… PRACTIsCe?!

This is why you wait until the rounds are live.

Will be interesting to see snap counts now that we are out of the proverbial gauntlet. We will start seeing more range of players with likes of Stanford and VTech (once we get a big enough lead) and others. Many of you make good points. Marion has fallen off as a target. Moore is noticeably absent. If we are to make a real run, we will need for others to show up. Playoff teams will have the talent to shut off our top 2 receivers so we will need to have a solid third AND consistent play from the TE group. I hope we don’t just bowl through these teams using the run to eat clock and push guys around. We can do that to get the lead and to win but it won’t be the best use of game day live action for developing these kids for the rest of this year and especially next.

"Number one [jersey], you've gotta earn it. If you're gonna wear that you better be the baddest son of a gun on the planet".
- Mario Cristobal

Everyone thought he would be our #1 WR as did our head coach. Don’t get how people are surprised by all the fuss over what’s going on with him.
I'm just glad they aren't disgracing no. 98
