What’s going on with Damari Brown?

[blackvern]

Passed up by Mack?? Surprising… we thought we were winning the championship with this guy if he was healthy last year. Mack played well on relief but jeeeshhh what a fall from grace

[SpikeUM]

FSU talent maybe?

[twes.305]

His technique is just bad, purely relying on his physical traits out there.

Well, Ryan Mack has talent and Damari also participates

[KrazyCane]

Damari is a safety playing corner.. hes bigger than most safeties. He has some ability in man coverage but he’s missing the natural instincts to be good enough in man coverage for this level.

Reminds me of James Williams both came out of American Heritage and both were stubborn against moving to a position they would likely have more success in based on their physical traits.

[Uncut Co Cane]

Might as well stop fighting that weight gain and make the move to S/LB lol but really the injuries derailed him

I think he's a LB now

Imo Damari fully bought in as a LBer could dominate. He has the frame that could add 20 pounds and be a real problem. Shaq Thompson still making money in the NFL bc he moved to linebacker.

He’s just not very good, FCS talent

He never was really good, and never showed anything to earn that stamp from anyone.

[Odin]

After the season it may be time to encourage Damari to move on and play for another team.

[KrazyCane]

I moved Damari Brown to safety on NCAA26 and became an all American.

It was all these miami podcasters for the past 2 years claiming he was a 1st round corner and best cb on the team.

The apple doesn’t fall from the tree….

Now that's a lie Damari Brown had one of the highest pff grade last year at DB on this team.

[LoyalCane24]

Antoine was gonna take his snaps regardless.

Imagine this defense with OJ, X, Jaboree, EOC, Poyser, JJ, Fitz all rotating around the secondary.

We would be so **** lockdown its a shame

[skyman]

this is like a weekly thread now do yall not understand how career altering and devastating turf toe can be?? let me go find my old post so I can just repost every week..

[TexasCane90]

Idk and I hate questioning a players “give a ****” but he’s gotten Toney killed twice on punt coverage. I always see special teams being 85% effort and 15% athleticism (if your not the returner)
