Only 3 teams have beat us more then we beat them and it will be 2 as we will beat smu this year and it could be one if we hadn't screwed up against GT. Seems rather weird we've dominated yet haven't put it all together. This is our year to finish the job!

Now here are the numbers since those matchups became conference games for the Canes beginning in 2004 (doesn't include 4 vacated losses -- 3 to UNC and 1 to FSU):

BC (3-3)
Cal (1-0)
Clemson (3-6)
Duke (15-4)
FSU (8-12)
GT (11-9)
Louisville (4-4)
NC State (5-3)
UNC (7-10)
Pitt (8-3)
SMU (0-0)
Stanford (0-0)
Syracuse (1-1)
UVA (12-8)
VT (11-9)
Wake (6-0)
- - - - -
Overall: 94-72

UNC is a hated rival.

I guess that's the point.

A basketball school should not be in the same sentence as UM in football conversations. We should never have any business losing to unc in football. (Again- I'm sick of losing to them...since Conner freakin' Barth and so on)

idc about unc after Mack brown left. A poverty program that fired a geriatric coach to hire another geriatric coach.

We haven't dominated anything.

We've been a middle-of-the-pack ACC team, like the vast majority of them. We've never quite been able to rise above everyone else for a year like Pitt or FSU have, for example and obviously we've been miles off the standard - Clemson.

We should have won it last year. I'd be incredibly disappointed if we don't win it this year.

like it or not, no one gives a flying **** about the ACC

I can't be the only person secretly hoping we don't play in (or lose) the ACC CG and then go one and win the natty this year?
lol

I don't know why this keeps popping in tiny little brain, but didn't Miami voluntarily opt out of the ACC title game during that whole Al Golden "cloud" thing?
2012. Ended tied with GT and UNC.
We would have beat GT for the tie breaker, since we beat them head to head, but NC would have beat us for tie breaker. Except they also weren’t post season eligible due to probation.
