Definitely one of the more exciting high school games I've seen in a while. Westminster dug out of a big hole to win it 27-21. Big plays all around. Definitely no love lost between the teams.

Wanted to touch on Cronkrite. Over the past few weeks this kid has started to emerge as a force. Unbelievable athlete. Literally played about every position on the field on both sides of the ball and was a huge difference maker. I'd love to see him get an offer.

I seen him vs Champagnat 5 carries 10yds. He didn't look to impressive. Actually he quit after his first carry. I don't see why everybody is high on him. It's easy to look good vs Moore Haven, Village Academy, Keys Gate, etc.

How did a kid quit after his first carry but had his best run which was only 8 yards later in the game. Champagnat punched WCS in the mouth and there was no room for their backs to run but neither back would ever quit. Just be glad you don't have to see WCS again cause I have a feeling it would be a different story.

Maybe maybe not. Cronkrite just didn't look like an elite RB. 10yds vs Champagnat. Now imagine if he had to play BTW or Central. Good kid and nice talent but UM can get a better RB in 2015.

He's a kid I offer and figure out what to do with later. He has been stated to bleed orange and green. I've heard he is a very good safety as well. I know 2015 is deep but he is a local kid I expect to get an offer. He is a high calibur bcs recruit IMO, solid 4 star. I like his tape alot, he is fast, has some size, and has great instincts on both sides of the ball.

Sometimes you have to take a look at what the Oline looks like when talking about backs and if a kid is running behind a line with kids that could still play 160s, I don't know how much to expect from them honestly. There are some kids that get a real benefit from running behind a solid O line. This isn't one of those cases.

I know that I've been in small school for seven years now. It's really hard to judge a small school player because the level of competition. You have to look at the total package size, speed, tuff ness, willingness to play any position on the field, work ethic, and the will to be great. It's a hard sell to a college coach especially if your a new program that's just start putting out prospects. As Westminster start putting more kids in college the less question will be asked. I like Cronkike and have watched him since his youth days so I know his complete body of work and if he's thinking about going big time BCS it's going to MAJOR adjustment period. In my 7 years of small school only the super talented are ready to make that jump the rest just end up fizzling out. Now if I had to pick a WC kid who's going to make that jump I'll pick Tim Irvin he's been the best player on his team since 7 years old. He's certified small school or big school.

I agree with black keys. Recruit him as an athlete and see where he can develop/help you the most.

And I understand the knock by Clions, but he's been taking over games and flashing at multiple positions the last few weeks against Chaminade and Gulliver. It's been great to see the production begin to match the talent.

With Tim it's obvious. But the light has started to come on for Jordan.

Highlights from yesterday.

Westminster Christian has surpassed Gulliver as top private school down south. If coach Irvin stays around look for WC to become a small school power.
