He may have to. Don't think there's alot of guys out there that are qualified to call a defense that would be willing to have a scheme and a staff forced upon them. If they are its probably someone coaching in the lower ranks that just wants to get the exposure.

Agree 100% on what you are saying about DVD. That grind of having to rise through the ranks is what is going to make him a better coach. Look at the CB coaches that EL posted on his thread and look at their resumes. Its why I always thought Richt was doing a huge disservice to Jon by giving him the job rather than using his connections to get him started in a lower division. Add that if he takes the USU job he likely has atleast 3 years to prove his worth whereas if Manny does what we think he may do here DVD may only have 1 year to prove himself before a new regime comes in.
And he is going to be on the hot seat from the word go, in terms of needing to develop these guys and break some bad habits, the tarnish of last year, being lumped in with Manny and Baker, and the fact that Manny himself will be at the firing squad. It would be a mess.
