Wesley Bissainthe vs. UF

He has a really good game 8 tackles. He was punishing those guys, this defense is physical
He knocked a Gata into next year last night. Wes brang his hard hat & lunch pale last night.

Played amazing and brought a physical edge I haven’t seen since DJ Williams in Blacksburg around 2005
Funny you pick that VTech game in 2005 because I felt last night was the best defensive game I have seen by UM since that VTech game with Marcus, don’t call me Michael, Vick as the over hyped QB that night.

Bissainthe was noticeably physical, making me wonder if this is what he looked like in HS, and what we expected to get when Mario prioritized his recruitment. Bain, Mesidor*, Toure, Thomas, and now Poyser were all extremely physical. For all of US, including me, who mocked 'caveman' Mario - this is what it looks like. This is the 'knock back' culture that's been developed. Love it!

He’s not getting talked about enough.

This this Wes we’ve been consistently hoping we was going to get outta HS.
Yep. I think he needed 2 things and neither was available when he arrived.
First, Age and weight. Very few players come into college ready to play at age 18 playing against 22 year olds. Age is nothing but time. And Wes came to UM around 190 lbs, so for 2 years he was young and light. Now he is neither.

Second, a real DC.

Now Wes is an upper classman with the body he needed to have and a coach who knows how to use him.

Jakobe Thomas off the edge blitz was very effective last night. Love the aggressiveness on D.
Thomas is going to need to have a huge game against the ***** holes, the way they’re running the ball we need him to continue to be a sure tackler.
