I was certain he was going to score but got caught from behind.
He got caught from behind because he kept looking to see who was behind him multiple times slowing him down and then he should have kept going straight instead of veering to the right on the catch and runI was certain he was going to score but got caught from behind.
Half *** blocking by Pope is why he didn’t score.
No he's a TE... The best in the country, but still a TEI was certain he was going to score but got caught from behind.
LolI was praying he'd make it into the endzone because I knew the redzone offense was gonna stall after that.
He didnt even need to block him, just jump in front of him and stop running, even if he is just a speed bump while getting ran over the guy wont catch brevin.. Unacceptable effortI pointed out Pope's lack of blocking in the stands but had a different read. If you looked at his angle it's a 50/50 call he gets a flag for a blindside hit and he didn't want it taken back.
Thank you. People don't see how football is officiated now. If he makes that block, the ref throws a flag then we are backed up. Smart play by Pope.I pointed out Pope's lack of blocking in the stands but had a different read. Pope was trying not to draw a flag. With the officiating we've seen the last few years, I get it.Half *** blocking by Pope is why he didn’t score.
