We're running the table

You don't need to be peyton manning to get them to get out of the box. When Rosier plays we literally couldn't get a good run game for a single qaurter even against trash defenses. Just look at the way teams lined up on defense vs Rosier and Perry.

They are definitely picking their poison now. They have to respect the pass. And more importantly, defend the entire field !!!

I don’t want to get too far ahead of ourselves, but assuming we make it back to the ACC championship game, this is my take:

With Bryan leaving Clemson, I actually think our chances of beating them augments. We struggle against running quarterbacks — something Trevor Lawrence is not. If we can put pressure on him and get him to make some crucial mistakes, we’ll have a fighting chance. However, it’s all going to come down to whether or not our offensive line can handle Clemson’s defensive front, which is going to be extremely difficult.
Lawrence can run but he isn’t a jelly Bryant type of runner

What stacking the box are you talking about? We've rushed for over 200 yards against every opponent since LSU. The one thing those teams have in common is that they're atrocious defensively and don't have the athletes to run with us. That isn't about Perry. You think FSU with how crappy their LB play is will be playing two deep coverage the entire game out of fear of Perry?

They're gonna challenge our receivers and they'll try to make Perry beat press coverage. They're gonna bring pressure and if their front can't control the run game they're gonna place extra bodies in the box. He's gonna face his biggest challenge. IF he continues to be a QB who doesn't challenge defenses deep, the field will shrink. The run game has made it easier on him. Not the other way around.

Those 2 things are not mutually exclusive. When teams played Rosier they were playing like they would against a triple option team. They could be the worlds worst defense. In addition UNCs defense is on another level compared to FIU, Toledo, Savannah st.
