We're running the table

Look at the schedule. Mississippi state and kentucky would run the table. We want no part of Clemson. Assuming sunshine stays healthy

total bs. we’ve closed the gap from last year to this year on clemson. do we win, probably not. def a better game then last year. Perry will continue to get better.

The turnovers aren't in perry. First, it was the oline. Second, Harley should have caught it.

People need to stop blaming Harley for that interception. Yes, the ball hit his chest, but his arm was being pulled on by the LB, huge pass interference.

Its no coincidence that once they stop stacking the box because we are actually hitting passes that the run game opens up.

Uh huh. All those passes didn't seem to affect their third quarter run defense. Perry isn't advanced enough to be changing how defenses play just yet. He's got significant time against three terrible defenses and the offense has put up over 200 yards rushing in every game that he has played heavy snaps. Run the ball and he'll be fine. FIU ranks 98th in run defense. UNC was 105th coming into the game. They don't stop the run no matter who is playing QB.

You don't need to be peyton manning to get them to get out of the box. When Rosier plays we literally couldn't get a good run game for a single qaurter even against trash defenses. Just look at the way teams lined up on defense vs Rosier and Perry.

Yeah. Its almost as if the team didn't run for 268 yards against Toledo with Rosier in the game. They're trash at stopping the run too but Rosier's presence didn't hinder this year's OL from beating the crap out of them.

Good thing Richt wasn't too stubborn to make the switch, right?

Dude its a ******* Toledo. Rosier couldn't even run on FIU the first two drives. Once perry started airing the ball out the run game opened up.

Nope, both TO's were on Him.

Yes TSL got beat, but He still has to hold on to the ball.

On the pick, that's basically the same coverage He threw into vs FIU where Harley bailed em' out. It's not wise to throw into the seam vs a Quarter Safety...Harley can't bail em' out all the time.

Dude, all the defenses are terrible. And the offense couldn't run on UNC on the first drive of the game either. And that was after Perry hit the ball to Harley. So that didn't shake the UNC defense into backing off.

Perry threw the ball twice his first drive of the FIU game. They were both bubble screens. He didn't air it out. The offense went down the field because of the run game.

Perry's mere presence after only throwing passes against Savannah State didn't open up the run game against FIU. Every defense has stunk the last 4 games. This was the perfect stretch for him. Three home games against severely outmatched opponents with awful run defenses and offenses who couldn't put any game pressure on him.

Then why did teams stop stacking the box when Perry was the QB?

Here we go again on the fan emotional roller coaster.....

Lose to LSU and we are the worse team in history and we neeed to hire Butch.

Beat UNC and we are the best team in history and will never lose again.

Something tells me neither of these are accurate.

I could actually see us beating Clemson, our Dline would have to create tons of pressure (which i think they will), along with a better QB and play makers

I don’t want to get too far ahead of ourselves, but assuming we make it back to the ACC championship game, this is my take:

With Bryan leaving Clemson, I actually think our chances of beating them augments. We struggle against running quarterbacks — something Trevor Lawrence is not. If we can put pressure on him and get him to make some crucial mistakes, we’ll have a fighting chance. However, it’s all going to come down to whether or not our offensive line can handle Clemson’s defensive front, which is going to be extremely difficult.

I have this feeling too.
We are simply flat out better than every opponent on our schedule. Our Defense is very intimidating and the opposing defenses that we will face simply don't know how to tackle anyone consistently.

There can be some close calls here and there because Perry is still getting used to the speed of game and learning how to decipher where to go with the ball against certain coverages, but I think we should win out.

But of course we have to take it one game at a time Just win and improve each week. That is all I ask for. One game at a time. Yadda, yadda.

Let's kick some Nole ****.

What stacking the box are you talking about? We've rushed for over 200 yards against every opponent since LSU. The one thing those teams have in common is that they're atrocious defensively and don't have the athletes to run with us. That isn't about Perry. You think FSU with how crappy their LB play is will be playing two deep coverage the entire game out of fear of Perry?

They're gonna challenge our receivers and they'll try to make Perry beat press coverage. They're gonna bring pressure and if their front can't control the run game they're gonna place extra bodies in the box. He's gonna face his biggest challenge. IF he continues to be a QB who doesn't challenge defenses deep, the field will shrink. The run game has made it easier on him. Not the other way around.
