yeah, I get it, Miami doesn't draw very well on a consistent basis. Hey, this ain't Tuscaloosa or Columbus. But guess what, neither does USC unless they are really good. I see that first hand out here in Los Angeles. But when they do, the 'new' Hard Rock is as good as home field advantage as there is in college football. It becomes the 'Madhouse of Miami' on select Saturdays

I'll never forget watching Miami-Vatech at the Barney's Beanery in Hollywood (where they held Miami game watches, @CanesAreAble have been there numerous times -- sometimes as the only Canes fans there, true story). And when it looked like Miami was going to win, I blurted out, "Guys...I think I'm going to this game." They thought I was kidding. But when I got home, I booked a flight (actually found a decent one) and I was in out and out South Florida in about 18 hours or so.

Best decision I ever made

For a few hours, it really felt like Richt had brought us 'back'. It was a mirage that ended that Thanksgiving Friday at Pitt. But it was a fun ride. But that night was one of the best Ive had as a die-hard Hurricane fan. This video brought back some great memories. Every man, woman and child needs to bring their lungs on August 31 to Hard Rock...

Only game at Hard Rock that resembled the OB. The whole vibe around the stadium, even pregame, was next level. One of the few times at Hard Rock I walked up to the stadium in a big game and said out loud, “no way we lose tonight.” You could feel what was coming.
 
Did some scouting last night. They still talk about it. Need this energy again this year.

My best friends and I sprayed the smoke on the players running out of the tunnel that night in 2017. That night was indescribable. It was absolutely deafening in Hard Rock. I've never seen a crowd at any sporting event have a more tangible impact on the outcome of a game as did Canes fans vs ND that night.

To all those on the fence about making the trip down on 8/31, do it. It's going to be electric
 
I’ll be there with my pops. Last game I took him to was TAMU a few years ago and he about got into a fist fight with some A&M students… he’s too old for that but we had about killed a handle of Four Roses in the parking lot 30 min before kickoff.

We’re going to rock that place. Will be huge if we can rattle their inexperienced QB like we did in 2017. Looking forward to this atmosphere. Will be a great slate of homes games this year.
