We're Air Raid Now...

Could we have just force fed the running game and wore them down eventually and won this game 24-0? Yes. But why? Our best player is Cam. Our best position group on offense is our receivers. Doing anything different than what we’ve been doing would be downright stupid. Let Cam sling it around and build a lead then hit them with the running game once they’ve committed to stopping the pass.

I still remember all the arguments I had with the Super Tuff Bro's on here that we needed to be more like UGA & Michigan & "pOuNd tHe rOcK bRo!"...

As I've been saying for years, we are at our best when we have a lethal uptempo passing Offense.

Our best chance to win the most games on an annual basis is with being a high-powered Offense.

Running the ball is necessary & it's always good to have that ability, but for MIAMI, we need to be able to put the ball in the air & score at will in order to put us in the most advantageous situations to win consistently.

We will never be Michigan or UGA.
Turn on the Kentucky Georgia game. Hold your nose

I've made this comment several times over the years: "Our pass game is setting up the run game" not the other way around. We had hard headed "pro style" coaches that wanted to establish the run and control the game. ****, even Mario prefers this playstyle.

But the athletes we recruit come from spread/west coast offenses. Let em work in space. This has been a long time coming. No one uses lead blockers any more. Make the defense run up and down the field for 30 minutes, and watch them try tackling a 225 lb rb in the second half. it's going to be a slaughter fest.

But what makes this special is the OL and QB play. The two combined make marginally above average skill players look like award winners. Throwing the ball with a lead is all I needed to see to know this team finally has an offensive identity, after 15+ years of being mixed nuts.

My last challenge to this year's team is what happens after the bye week. We have been historically atrocious after the bye week the last 15+ years. We've checked the "score early and often" and the "clock management after halftime" metrics. Just gotta clear the bye week streaks.

I'd much rather be like Bama when they had mobile hiesman qbs. Balanced. Could throw for 400 or run for 250.

I know we talk about lsu and burrow and their passing offense. But burrow ran quite a bit and Clyde had 1400 yards. That lsu team could run the ball when needed and obviously could pass with a heisman qb and two generational wr.

Balance baby, with a bit of toughness when needed. Regardless, it's a breath of fresh air to see them actually trust the offense and are not afraid to go to one thing when the other isn't working. We'd run into 10 man boxes last year because tvd was......tvd.

Shout out to Shannon Dawson. Yes, Cam is phenomenal but Dawson called a great game today. The underneath passing game is what got us going and the execution was top notch. Kevin Beard has his guys playing hard and blocking like animals. You see the effort from receivers even on plays that aren’t designed to go their way. We finally have an OC who understands numbers advantages and calls plays accordingly instead of just forcing what he wants to do over and over.

Mario got tired of the "Fysical" jokes and decided to let Cam cook.

I can't remember the last time we've had such a dynamic passing game.
Have to.....cant run for **** until the 3rd string comes in against their backups.

Only complaint is run game looks like ****. I dont know if its the scheme......blocking......RBs.......something has to change.
