Agree with your list. I DO NOT want Rex Ryan; he runs a 3-4 defense which isn’t Miami football, and he hasn’t coached in college which is a completely different landscape than the NFL. Butch on a 2-3yr deal would be ideal to see what he could produce with no freaking extensions unless he wins the ACC or something equivalent. Leach would have the offense humming at a much higher pace especially with So Fl athletes at his disposal. My only concern with him would be defensively; would he care enough to hire a decent to great DC to run the show there? And finally, Babers would be a fantastic addition as HC for the Canes. He’s relatively young, a polished locker room presence, and runs an innovative offense. The same questions I have for the Pirate I do for Dino defensively. But this list would be a wonderful place to kick off the search committee’s review of potential candidates.
