I've seen many non athletes get their lives ruined b/c they had an ounce of weed on them. I've seen many non athletes get their lives ruined b/c they were caught w a spray can in their hand. I've seen many non athletes have their lives ruined b/c they were driving w dirty L's.

Spare me w/ this rhetoric. The fact is, these kids play for Bama and if they didn't play for Bama, pls believe their lives would've been ruined.

Funny thing is, other college kids who have worked equally as hard don't get this treatment. I never, ever want UM to be like that. This "win at all costs" garbage shows all that is wrong with "amateur" athletics. Especially football. These young men are used by these "schools" and then discarded like trash. They aren't taking care of them by getting them out of trouble. They are using them to win, to make more money for the "school". It's pathetic. Don't want to ruin their lives? They couldn't care less about their lives. They don't want to lose to Auburn.

Well, you surely know you have arrived in dynasty power mode when a district attorney makes a comment like that for reason not to prosecute. I'm seriously dumbfounded that the fool actually states that it is because he doesn't want to ruin the lives of 2 young men who have worked and sweat since they were young while we were in AC.

Truly unfacking real. So, he must be paid off or an Alabama alumni for an explanation like that to circumvent his duties to prosecute and the law.

The drug charges, pfft, I don't like the stolen weapons though. I also don't want to ruin kids lives, keep the off the field for 6 games or so. Got to be some personal responsibility, having stolen guns is BS. Saban is doing them no favors by letting them off the hook.

I'm for letting kids off easy if it's their first offense, stolen guns is pretty bad though.

This will be my final post on the subject because I'm really not looking to get into a debate about racism.

The post I replied to was something a racist person would say. Period.

Imagine someone had posted:

"I learned long ago that black/latino/asian/****** people would never let morals, religion or laws get in the way of ________ (fill in the blank)."

That statement would rightfully earn that poster a ban. You know it.

If racist posters like Gator Hatar are allowed to continue posting based the perceived guilt of the target of his racism...which you doubled down on...then this forum could rightfully be labeled a hate site.

White men are not the only people capable of racism.

We are talking a felony gun charge in the middle of a gun controversy (well, mostly created by politicians who don't want to deal with radical terrorists)....regardless, hard to believe felony weapons charges being swept under the rug....misdemeanor charges, maybe.
