Well that's weird...

The 5% difference is likely due to the drops, not badly thrown balls.

No it's not.

Rosier is inaccurate and therefore he doesn't throw a very catchable ball. Or at least he's inconsistent in that regard. Which means that he'll spray balls and sometimes the receiver will make a great catch and bail him out and sometimes the ball will hit them in the hands and they'll drop it.

Guys who are not accurate can't use drops as an excuse for why they're a 57% passer (and worse against FBS teams).

Since this is a team game, the 5% could be attributed to the actions of others, ie., drops, missed blocks, penalties, rather than solely Rosier's "fault".

We're winning because it's a team game.

Rosier has a 57% completion percentage because that's who he is.

And one poster has totally derailed this thread.

We get it, dude- you're just here to discuss Malik Rosier's performance. But you've done that with uninterrupted streams of a half-dozen posts and whole paragraphs about "winning" and the fragile psyches of others. Just make your point and be done with it. You can ********** on your own time.

You're part of the problem.

How is talking about Rosier's performance and/or stats derailing a thread that's about Rosier's performance and/or stats?

You don't post at all in this thread until it's time to whine and cry about something.

Pathetic.

Complete BS!

Doesn't throw a catchable ball? Does he throw it too hard?

A quarterback doesn't always have to throw a pass right on the numbers to be completed. In todays passing game alot of throws are fade and back shoulder throws so being highly accurate in those situations is not necessary.

I don't know how many balls Rosier has had dropped. Find out that number, count those as completions and then see what his completion percentage goes to. But doing so doesn't tell the whole story as I said, other factors contribute to his percentage. Bottom line is win and loses and I rather have wins than a QB with a high completion percentage and losses.

however, are you really here to discuss the team or are you just deliberately looking to argue with any poster you choose? It seems like you’re high jacking every thread and are here just to stir **** with people.

Again, this is what I'm talking about.

So much softness on this board that people think that bluntness is trolling.

It's as if all of these fanboys were born and raised in glass bubbles and they've never had to defend their statements before.

Holding other posters accountable for their words/actions is one thing, being a royal douche about it is another. If your schtick is to be the ******* then embrace it, but don't pretend your intentions is simply to talk football. You seem to be an intelligent fan, so I look forward to reading more of your thoughts about the team but don't use the board for your "smartest guy in the room" complex.

Jesus...if he's gonna be the smartest guy in the room, he at least needs to learn how to ****** multi quote

In my defense, I called it a complex.

There are ways to throw accurate back shoulder throws, fades, etc.

He's actually not bad at those.

But he does struggle with curls, posts, screens, etc.

Again, a lame *** fanboy excuse.

Everybody has dropped balls.

Inaccurate quarterbacks have more "drops" than accurate ones.

I don't have a schtick.

I just don't care about the sensibilities of deluded fanboys.

So they'll get blunt end of the stick.

I'm not making an excuse for his completion percentage. You're the one who suggested the games wouldn't be as close if his percentage was higher, which is one of the most ignorant statements made on this board and that's saying alot.

And exactly how do inaccurate qbs have more drops, when the balls aren't even catchable?

PASSING
Rosier: 143-252 2071 yds 17 TDs 4 INTs 12 sacks
Jackson: 149-239 2032 yds 17 TDs 4 INTs 12 sacks

RUSHING
Rosier: 69 att 211 yds 2 TDs
Jackson: 67 att 193 yds 2 TDs

That Va. Tech QB had TWO games against tiny Old Dominion and Delaware to PAD his stats'. hUh. So his current statistics are relatively MISLEADING and what not.

People don't like being held accountable for their words. They don't take kindly to it. So they lash out.

Fact. Accountability is a major problem with the world today. But let's be real, if you counter argued with facts and toned it down on the attitude, you wouldn't be lashed back like this. To be honest, I can't even front, I am guilty of being a **** to some mouth breathing retards, so wtf am I to say anything.
