Well that's weird...

If we didn’t have 13-15 drops the last 3 games his numbers would be even better

And if NC would have intercepted the 3 or 4 other passes it would be even worse. See how that works.

Richt spoke last week bluntly on it. He is not impressed with Rosier's reads on throws or on many run plays. He also pointed out the difference in throwing a completion or accurately throwing a ball for more YAC.

Man, if somebody said before the season that Rosier would throw for 3k yards, have over 20 TD's, single digit INT's, and rush for nearly 500, I'm not sure anyone would have believed it. I wouldn't have beleived it, and I was somebody who thought we could win with the guy.

Yet people still complain about our QB coaching.

Just watch the first 3 and half quarters of any game ... that should tell you why

You're right about that, but Rosier's exceeded all expectations. Last year Jack Allison was anointed by this board (or at least some posters) as the successor after Kaaya left. Then it was the true freshman, Perry. Where did Rosier come from? Was he even recruited by anybody else significant? Did the two major Alabama schools show any interest? He's like Geno Torretta in that he came in as a lightly-recruited kid and ended up a starter on a team that will have a very good season. I think Rosier might be even better next year.

EDIT: Here are Rosier's offers based on Rivals and 247:

Miami, Arkansas State, Furman, Louisiana Lafayette, Middle Tennessee State, Northern Illinois, Southern Miss, Western Kentucky.

He was recruited by (since a recruiter is listed on 247), but not given offers by: Alabama, Auburn, Duke and Kentucky.

He had an interest in, but did not receive offers from: Ole Miss, Memphis, Texas Tech and Troy.

So, this is an impressive outcome no matter how many flaws he still shows in his first year as a starter.

WOW.

That is some eye-popping information right there.

But yeah, Mark Richt & Son are doing a terrible job. ::rolleyes::

Dude couldn't even get an offer from Kentucky and he's 7-0 this season as a starter.

No argument there. It just blows my mind how poor our QB depth is at MIAMI. Just crazy. Rosier is playing beyond his talent level. Kudos to the kid. I just don't think he was Miami material. I know Richt is a QB whisperer but he's putting a lot of faith in the Kosi basket. ****skowski isn't the answer. Just worries me.

If Rosier plays 13 games this season, he's on pace to beat Bernie's single season yardage record (3,642) and Walsh's single season TD record (29). I would say that exceeds all expectations coming in. He may legit have the most prolific statistical season in Miami history... I certainly didn't see that coming. Not even the biggest homer out there saw that coming. And he's still not a complete product... I'm not saying there aren't holes in his game and he certainly hasn't been the model of consistency, but what he's done based on his talent coming in, limited experience, etc. is mind boggling to me...

Jackson also played one more game than Rosier & his stats are still better. If we played Ark. State it wouldn't be as comparable.
VT (7-1)
Miami (7-0)
