Welcome to The U, Terry McCray!!!!

I think people are basing this off of the kids film that we have seen. And most on here are assuming that the last LB scholie would either go to TM or AS. (which might not be the case)..If we get Smothers, i am okay with taking TM. Put him on the shelf for 2-3 years and see what happens when he is a R-So. He has some skills you can refine and build on..

I can only imagine what this board would of been like when Ed Reed committed, who's only other offer was Tulane. Mafuggers would have murdered someone.

The one hudl highlight only had the coin flip on it . I need to at least see his stretching highlights before I sign off.

Wow, it's great our internet talent evaluators know more than the coaching staff. Let's assume they know who they want and why, until proven otherwise.

I believe they are more properly titled "evaporators."

How does the staff even entertain the idea of letting McCray Commit when 2014 LB Jaevon Walton from Edna Karr HS (Louisiana) is still out there waiting for a Miami offer. Man that would be a felony to take McCray over J. Walton. And before anyone says something about academics, his grades are fine.

Here is Jaevon Walton's highlight for those that haven't seen it!

If the coaching staff feels he can make an impact why not give him a chance? If he wasnt up for it he wouldnt have been offered.

Golden Al and Frio have been pretty good at picking LB's. If he does have an offer and commits they obviously feel he is worth it, especially with this class pretty much already full with just over 6 months to go. Maybe we don't have as good as a shot at other kids or he is just really that good?

No actually he has a hand full of scholarship offers already, just not one from UM. So are you saying he is not good enough to play at UM based on the highlights vs McCray?

This guy could be a perfect 3-4 linebacker with the ability to play some rush DE. He is already 6'3" and with a few years(redshirt), he could be 6'3" 245 0r 250. Even if this guy turns into a role player, that could be looked at as acceptable because everyone on the roster will not be an All-American.
