Does this mean Manny CAN recruit? A big part of sales is actually having something TO sell. Seems like he's putting together something the kids can get excited about.
 
While I love the direction the U is heading after Coker, Shannon, Golden and Richt I have learned to temper my enthusiasm. At this point I have more hopes for the next season than any off season for a good 15 years though.. Manus actions since taking over have shown he at least knows what has been wrong and is trying to make corrections.

Step 8: Look at deficiencies at team and use the portal to resolve deficiencies and create REAL competition

Step 9: Introduce the team to the new way of life; have fun, but accountability is on a different level

Step 10: Welcome back a kid who’s our best playmaker under a different football environment

I’m juiced b/c this is how we’re supposed to be ran. We have a real QB coach that can call plays. Anxious to see how the staff finishes out, but unlike Richt, Diaz is doing what it takes to win. I feel like we’re going to be @$$holes again.

We’ve had a divided house for years, and it felt good to see us unite again. Let’s roll. It always was and always is about This U.

If we can find a couple more grad transfers to help on the DL, our roster for 2019 should be in good shape. Also need to still find a QB obviously but overall he is plugging in Kennedy (starting OT), KJ (heavy snaps at WR, Bolden ( potential safety starter), Martell (potential starter if he gets waiver or graduates) that’s massive news!

Diaz is done. His goose is cooked. There are too many things with this program that need to be fixed. He’s been an integral part of this staff for over 3 years. He knew **** well what was broken. Problem is he has no idea how to fix it. He can look at all the analytics he wants, won’t change the fact he is WAY over his head and and has no idea what he’s doing at this point.
 
Lol every fan will eventually work with the hire they're given. I hated the diaz hire at first, then felt ok with it, and now I'm a Cessna liaison. The natural progression of miami fandom for the last two decades.

The original, original comment was never hire a coach from a failed regime. But this dude Manny came through looking like he was “fixing” chit. That whole TNM had ur boy believing, even when I initially hated the hire. Then the fanboy side came out of me. I’m a fan, always hope for the best, and Manny made many, if not dang near all of us believe.

The good ole days. Lol
