I remember Ethenic Sands would take his kid to a bunch of classes and then, when watching the game and it was 3rd down, I'd think "Sands will get this 3rd and 5 to feed his boy."

Did Ethenic ever make any money playing football (besides Benihana trips with Shapiro)? I remember he got suspended for the national championship game against Nebraska, but can't remember what for.

Yeah something isn't adding up with that story. SFla kid (with a kid of his own) with offers from UM, FSU, Tennessee, *, Nebraska and is qualified just decided to go to Marshall. And then on top of that redshirts at Marshall. Sounds like the Grooms program to me.

If AJ was a bad character kid that Miami didn't want, then fine. But no way in **** is his character so bad that he had to go to Marshall. Not at his talent level.
 
Not necessarily bad grades, but most likely missing credits because of transferring 25 times. Usually Prep(which he would have had to do if he didn't go to Marshall) = missing credits. JuCo = bad grades.
 
how does prep ***** you? u don't "transfer" from prep. it's a pg year.
i don't understand that statement.

Why didn't we sign Eddie Jr? Not a prospect?

Do we ever come across a kid who insists on a package deal, "I only come if my son gets a scholarship next year?"

ethenic played or is still playing some arena ball.....think he also was a practice squad kid for a few.
