I take back what I posted prior to the Virginia Tech game. That combo we used last week was easily our best look of the season so far. The green works much better than orange with these Adidas duds. It looked good in person and even better on TV.

Normally I despise dark on dark uniform combos. But in our case all the new garbage actually helped. We had contrast colors on the sleeves and particularly those otherwise absurd stripes on the pants. It gave the impression of two tone even when we were desperately trying to conform with the nation and create the boring one-color look.

Not sure what garbage they will expose us to this week. My wife's comment on last weeks unis, "looks like someones grandmother went to a fabric store and stitched something together in a hurry"

accurate and what's ironic is my wife said the same thing. she said, "babe, who you watching?" (since i was so quiet and non-emotional about the game). I said Miami...her immediate reply was "wait, who? you mean, THE U?? Who let someone's grandma make those outfits??"
