coaches poll should be more neutral considering every coach should bias their own conference, surprising to see that even the coaches have a big 10 and SEC bias
 
UF at 8 is nuts

Its the usual over reaction when a team beats a narrative good team like Ole Miss.

All they wanna do is talk up the SEC teams, keep them all ranked, and the same for the 2 top Big Ten teams Ohio St and Indiana and ND

Everyone now is starting the Miami does not have a strong schedule narrative so that if we lose a game we're basiclly out but they never criticize Ohio St or Indiana or ND for beating the dreads of Purdue. Michigan St, Rutgers, etc., who are awful teams

Repeat. Boise and Ok state being ranked is good, actually. Preseason ranked Mizzou is the ****roach that’ll never die. But their day of reckoning is upon them

Wish Wake was ranked but after the coaches polls, i was expecting a lot worse from the AP
 
Taking into account poll inertia, this really isn’t that bad of top 25. Pretty decent I’d say.

Penn State should’ve never been ranked, and Pitt and VT should’ve been a ranked matchup this Friday. . . But it’s still an unbeaten matchup and the winner will be ranked.
 
i'll take 4th but in no world is Texas the best team. i think notre vs miami will be a 1 vs 2 matchup and I cant wait

Texas A&M starts the season in the top 10. They get destroyed by unranked Kentucky, but somehow remain in the top 25.

LSU exploded into the top 10 for demolishing an uranked and terrible Clemson team.

Ole Miss was a preseason top 10 team. They beat Louisville and an LSU team that's in the top 10 for beating unranked Clemson.

Ole Miss jumps into the top 5. LSU stays in the top 10.

UF is jumped into the top 25 for beating FAU, Campbell and Auburn by 5.

They beat #4 Ole Miss, who is unlikely to fall into the teens, and are now ranked inside the top 10.

LSU beats embarrasses Texas A&M and has a ranked win.

Louisville took its second loss and fell out of the top 25.

Mississippi St jumped into the top 25 for beating powerhouses UL Monroe, Minnesota and South Carolina.

Nobody can explain why Missouri was ranked.

Miss St beats Missouri and now has a top 25 win. Mississippi St is ranked in the mid teens, and MISSOURI IS SOMEHOW STILL RANKED.

To summarize.. the SEC teams listed above have 0 wins against the top 25 outside of the SEC.

Brother if you ever need to understand the logic in this just look at the TV contracts and that will tell you everything. All they're trying to do is justify their investments that's all the poles are about. I've tried to explain for years the poles just like recruiting rankings are specifically for the amusement of fans who don't know any better. How else can you justify what goes on with this constant force-fed rhetoric of this SEC trash every Pole or how the Big 10 is second tier. Two biggest contracts by far are the Sec and the Big 10. Look what happens with us when we play a bad second half against what seems to be in at least decent Wake Forest team. We drop out of the top five. Meanwhile that's CC simply flip flop their positions in it and Indiana has looked beyond s*** 2 weeks in a row. Had a flat-out trap two and a half quarters last week against I don't even remember who it was and an entire four quarters worth of trash output against northwestern. Now let's see what happens with them cuz there's no logical reason we should have dropped last week and they're not affected at all. Now we came out and handled our business while they sucked *** and if old **** is still in the top 10 after getting gunsmoked by a basic UF that should answer anything you've ever wondered about are they trying to do is keep teams somewhere in the rankings so that when the poles come around later in the season for playoffs etc they have such high quality of wind according to their metric it's all a joke
 
ACC needs to realize their only path to playoff representation are the Canes. That abomination of
Officiating last night needs to be addressed. Only 2 ACC teams in the Top 25, if the officiating keeps being this bad the ACC is going be stuck looking from the outside holding their d***** in their hand.
