Official Weekly Polls and Rankings Thread

We received 50 outta 73 (13 for OSU & 10 for BYU) first place votes in the coaches poll.


We received 40 outta 70 first place votes in the ap poll. BYU received 20, OSU 9, and Texas Tech, who is ranked eighth, received one.

After ranking us #1 in the preseason and post-week 1 poll, Javon Edmonds has soured on ‘Canes & kept us ranked in the 5-7 range the past few weeks. He was the only media member to not have us in the top 5.

In this attention economy, these votes (especially for the voters) are farming rage and clicks.

There’s no way that some of these people actually believe this **** from a logical perspective.

They’ll throw up some weird pole (not real poll) and then send a tweet saying “click on my sub stack or my whatever platform to see why”.
