A Personal Health Update — I Could Really Use Your Help
I’ve been out of the hospital for a few days now, and thankfully, the IV chemotherapy treatments I received have helped get my levels back on track. That’s a small victory, and I’m grateful for it.
In about a month, I’ll have another follow-up to see whether the lesions on my liver have grown. Unfortunately, it’s looking like I may have to go back on the liver transplant list for a second transplant.
I’ve lost a significant amount of weight, and this entire experience has taken a toll on me physically, emotionally, and financially.
Just the three ambulance transports alone have cost me $3,000 out of pocket. That’s on top of medical expenses, everyday bills, and trying to keep food on the table while recovering.
I’m doing everything I can to stay positive and keep fighting, but right now, I could genuinely use some help.

Every donation, whether $5, $10, or anything you’re able to give, makes a difference. All donations go toward medical expenses, bills, and food.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this post, keeping me in your prayers, or connecting me with someone who might be able to help.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support me through this journey. Your kindness means more than I can express.

PS. It’s on my bucket list health permitting to take my kids to their first UM game this year before I get another transplant. Obviously funds are tight. If anyone has 3-4 (possibly take my mother with Parkinson’s) spare tickets for a home game or knows someone in the UM charitable organizations and can relay my story. I would be beyond grateful. DM me if you might be able to help out. My apologies for clogging the board with my personal battle at times.
Go Canes!
