MEGA Week 9 Games Thread 🎃👻💀

Horrible play calling by FAU in those final 16 seconds. Thats the kind of coaching ****ery that costs you games on the road. Should be 24-21 FAU.

Miami can make a big statement before ND game. Vegas gave UNC the most favorable spread all season. Everyone keeps talking about a “trap.” Would love to see canes win a stress free game thats over in 3rd Q.

There was a different look to the offense against Pitt, which isn't surprising considering how poorly we played against FSU.

Hopefully we'll continue to turn the corner and eliminate unforced errors.

Great opportunity to show who we are against UNC.

All three games are within one possession in the fourth quarter.

Not sure how i feel about outline of Florida on FAU’s helmet yet.

JMU stinks.
This version would lose by 20+ to a legit CFP team
Would lose 48 to 7 or somethin like that.

The top 3 legit G6 playoff contenders are New Mexico, Boise State, and Oregon State. He latter two play each other this season.

The winner of the American will have an outside shot if they win out. If the winner of the conference is anybody other than FAU, UTSA, or North Texas—they aren’t getting in because of who and how they’ve already lost to.

James Madison called their first of three timeouts left, after running on 3rd and 4 for six yards, to get the ball at the 38 yard line, and 37 seconds left. They ran twice more, lost one yard, TO, gained one yard, TO. 13 seconds left. Rather than kick a long shot FG with a kicker who has been struggling, they throw to the end zone twice; on the second time it was a Hail Mary.

On the first throw, they tested a cornerback who has three interceptions on the night. TBH the WR was a little bit open but the QB threw it late. On the second throw, the Hail Mary, it looked like they won a walk off. Fireworks or confetti / streamers went off. Unfortunately, the cornerback who has three interceptions on the night got his second of back to back PBUs to kickoff overtime.

BILLY. ******. NAPIER.

Justin Powe just earned himself NFL consideration after this game; and now w/ 5 for 5 he could transfer to a bigger school & get paid next year. Good for him.

JMU’s qb really, really needed to throw that ball on third down. Probably cost them the game. I say probably because college kickers exist.

Good to see JMU has fans who care enough to freak out over that foolishness lol.
