They never showed him being thrown a high pass to utilize his height actually… that was the age before someone got “Mossed”!

Harold Carmichael’s main QBs with the Eagles were Roman Gabriel and Ron Jaworski (aka, “Jaws”).

Btw - Carmichael is a product of current football state champion William M. Raines High School in Jacksonville, Florida. Raines was an NFL pipeline back then in the late 60s and early 70s. He was an incredible multi-sport athlete at HBCU Southern, as many great players were in that time period. He was an amazing athlete and a great person. Amazing that he’s 93 years old now

The hit by #18 lb from UCF at the goal line against the Arab was a thing of beauty.. I don’t think he crossed the goal line.

So what does this game actually tell us about ND from the transitive property? Or just confirms that CFB is crazier than ever?

Did you you have the pleasure of knowing him personally? His highlight tape though shiort was very impressive! He was shimmying and shaking in ways WRs weren’t cutting like that yet. All at 6’8
