MEGA Week 8 Games Thread

UO fans are saying Lott/Hampton are suspended, presumably from involvement in the speeding **** last week. Regardless, could get spooky in Champaign with their backup QB and an OL that has had some very, very poor moments.

Man if they would’ve been out the Johnson at TE omg. Would’ve been ****ed. Ofc Lanning does selectively enforcement even tho Johnson was on his Chamillionaire 💩 evading the cops

Illinois freshman qb is from Orlando; did well against Michigan state

Playing against the Service academies must be the most frustrating week of practice ever.

They literally run 4 plays ALL GAME.

You know from film study exactly what play they're going to run on which down & somehow they still get 6yds a carry lol.

Honestly, that sounds like an awful strategy by Doeren.

Let's see if it works.

Those service academies prey on defenses not playing assignment football, and they excel once the opposing defenses get a little comfortable, thinking they have them figured out. Plus these days they have just enough passing in their offense to embarrass defenses. There is a reason why Chip Kelly used to hang out at Navy.
Same with Urban Meyer's son in law who coached under Paul Johnson at GT.

PJ Fleck did the whole circadian rhythm shift thing for Min vs Wash and dogwalked em.

Somehow I have my doubts Dave Doeren can do the same.

With the Legree announcement how much of negotiations are going on mid season now for players on your own team? How does this not become the norm for every player who starts out hotter than their NIL deal. Thats such a ******* distraction. But it’s a part of the game. Our coaches have to have a team evaluating other players seasons as we speak. Getting feelers out from agents already. That is insane.

This is without taking into consideration any high school recruiting.

Because Dave Doeren thought that as a means to combat the far travel issue for a late West Coast game, it would be smart to hold practice as late as 9:30pm - 12:30.

In the pregame, it was reported that most of the players didn't go to sleep until 2-3:30am. While still having to maintain their regular day to day schedule, which usually starts at 6am.

Or in other words, Dave Doeren isn't very bright.

What? I’ve never heard of this in my life.
