MEGA Week 7 Games Thread

I’m a hooper before anything else, but even I was mystified how the not for long league had the Super Bowl mvp skedaddle outta Seattle, with the Seahawks seemingly buying him the flight outta town, and it was discussed by the pundits for about 35 seconds all summer/preseason.

When Kawhi did that 💩 it was the story of century, seemingly still going on six years later as he returned to Toronto lolz. Obviously Toronto tried to actually keep him, nevertheless..

STILL, it’s Walker going to Kansas City is not mentioned much. I think the price of brick about to go up for running backs. Back to back champions had a RB as their best player
Yeah I mean it’s probably just my algorithm, but I feel like I saw like….nothing about Walker leaving.

Like you mentioned, I consume way more basketball than anything else, so idk if it’s just that, or if the nba news cycle is just way more dramatic, or if it is just that he’s a running back at a time where the league sees them as disposable, but it’s odd.

feel like it’s heavily the bolded. We’re seeing a bit of reversal with Jeanty and Love getting drafted so high; however not too much as those came the same offseasons Saquon and Walker left.

It’s kinda hilarious because both of them were so crucial to the teams, one bad team and one awesome team. Yet, as soon as they both left, their production skyrocketed the following season.

Giants owner was like Saquons my kid’s favorite player and GM still toyed around with the negotiations lmaooo. YPC can be deceptive. Joe Schoen thought he was declining already.

Might take em a while to learn their lesson.

Denver hit Darnold wit the inverted cover 2 with the nickle popping out as the cover 2 safety, fooled darnold as the safety took the tampa 2 pole runner, sheesh sickkkkk
I was just talking about this in another thread. Crazy how long it takes to come up with new ideas. This is a brand new concept that no one has really thought to do with the Cover 2 coverage lol

I wake up everyday still dreaming of a future where UGA and OSU lose three games and miss the playoffs.

For OSU, it’s becoming more likely, especially with an L to IU. Their easiest opponent left is Michigan lmao. {USC, Oregon, Northwestern and Nebraska}

UGA, I’m hoping for Ls against @ Ole Miss, @ USCe and versus GT (let me dream please).

Given our interest in Kasi Currie, need Texas to drop a couple more too. An L to @ Texas A&M (again, please let me dream) to end the season would be perfect.

However, dreaming doesn’t look like it’ll be required for Texas: UF, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, @ Mizzou, @ LSU, Arkansas, and @ A&M. . . .. . Sark will need to become a miracle worker to only lose once in the next seven games. I don’t see it.

Texas will def lose more, I could see 2 more for sure and I’ll put money on them
losing 1 more but as long as it isn’t tomorrow. With OU being unranked, and pretty ****** we need them to remain that way cause if they lose 3 with one of them being an unranked L and miss playoffs again, Sark is 1000000000000% getting canned.

Their O is average, and has the ability to absolutely hit a wall on the road at LSU and Mizzou. We’ll see. I’m rooting for the chaos. I don’t see OSU/UGA losing 3.

Yeah i didn’t even put it altogether like that but i should’ve made the connection….Steven Godfrey on the CFB Yahoo pod said Sark is outta there if they don’t make the final four teams lol. Him getting fired would make the flip a lot easier for us.

I do think UF can beat them although I don’t hope/expect it. I really only see Arkansas as the only team I’d bet money on Texas winning without a doubt.

Muschamp moving in as DC and Sark saying things like I need the defense to do better getting stops and turnovers, finishing the game, showcase how much heat he is already feeling. Now that I’m thinking about it more, there’s a decent chance dude doesn’t make it to the end of the season if he loses 2 of the 4 from the Mississippi school+mizzou+LSU stretch.

Is Memphis already cooked in terms of a possible playoff bid?
Yes.

IMO, they'll run the table the rest of their schedule & play UTSA in the American conference championship.

But even if they finished 12-1 with an AAC title they're not getting in.

The committee has made it clear they intend on overloading the playoffs with a bunch of mid SEC & B1G teams, which means the G6's are SOL.

The only G6 that has a chance at getting in is JMU, IF they finish the regular season undefeated & win the Sun Belt.

Lincoln Riley and Steve Sarkisian have the same odds for not being coaches of USC/Texas in February. “Out,” can mean many things which is why Marcus Freemen is at 19% because of the possibility he takes an NFL job.

I cannot trust Billy Napier to get the job done but would be a hilarious turn of events if he makes the playoffs

There's really only 2 games left on their schedule where they could be on upset watch.

Home vs Georgia ST
On the Road vs UCONN
