MEGA Week 7 Games Thread

I just listened to the pre game talk. Emory and Ray Ray got some big time props . Emory is the reason ECU is "getting their swag back".

Happy for him. I'm sure he learned alot over the years with Dawson
Good for them, one of our former personnel staffers is the GM over there now

Man, I’m glad Emory and Ray Ray have found somewhere they can do well.

But god**** it’s gotta be a bummer playing in front of a crowd of like 1,500

It’s honestly sad. No clue why they’re having their homecoming game on a Thursday.

And yeah, there will be more people at the Hoover/Spain Park game tomorrow.

One of the dumbest plays ever lol
Double reverse into a screen pass that loses 5 yards

holy shit GIF

I did and word that makes sense
Yeah, I mean you’re 45 minutes from Tuscaloosa and it’s a small school that’s heavy on grad/med students. I knew plenty of people that went there and very few went to games.

Honestly, more often than not they’d just come over to Tuscaloosa on Saturdays lol

Crazy stat I just found: FCS teams have double the amount of wins (6) against G6 teams as G6 teams have (3) against P4 teams.

They are 6-113 against the FBS in general. 6-61 against G6 opponents.

0-52 against P4 opponents. And have 7 more games against p4 opponents

G6 teams are 3-75 versus p4 opponents.

In 78 games played this season between the Power Four and the Group of Six, teams from the latter have won just three — a low point in the modern history of college football. But the disparity is even more jarring when you dig into the numbers. Of the 73 wins by power conference teams, only 21 were decided by 14 points or fewer while 27 of those games had a margin of five touchdowns or more. In 10 of those games, the Group of Six team didn't manage to score a single point.
