My initial reaction was looking back at it, i don’t blame Rhule for going for it on 4th and 9; however, it was still the wrong decision. You punt it, and hold IU to a good stop, and you start your drive in so much better field position. Trying to drive 95 yards on IU was not going to happen

UNC has a schematically advanced Defense.

Their Offense is garbage, but Belichick is a literal pro at figuring out your play calling.

They have an active pass rush & smart Safet play.

The key to splitting their Defense is confusing their LB's & getting them out of alignment. Their LB's control the whole Defense, they communicate to both the DLine & the Secondary what their checks are pre-snap.
