Pretty ugly fellas....here we go. As always, this is filtered for only FBS opponents. So the Bethune stats are not included in this, and any games vs FCS schools by the other FBS teams are removed as well.

Points per game: 100th (20.7 PPG)
Passing yards per game: 48th (257.7 YPG)
Passing completion percentage: 20th (71.0%)
Passing yards per attempt: 42nd (8.3 YPA)
Passer rating: 34th (154.98)
Rushing yards per game: 105th (105.7 YPG)
Rushing yards per attempt: 109th (2.96 YPA) -- Beyond pathetic, but sacks are counted in this number and......
Sacks given up per game: 130th (6 per game) -- Dead last in the country
3rd down conversion %: 128th (17.65%)
4th down conversion %: 109th (20% -- 1 for 5)
TFLs allowed per game: 129th (11 per game)
Red Zone TD %: 93rd (50% TD rate, 6 TDs in 12 chances)
Red Zone Scoring %: 94th (9 scores in 12 chances)
Field goal %: 84th (5 out of 8)
Defense:
Yards per play allowed: 29th (4.85 YPP)
Points per game allowed: 33rd (21.3 PPG)
Passing yards per game allowed: 80th (254.3 YPG)
Passing completion percentage allowed: 23rd (55.3%)
Passing yards per attempt: 60th (7.4 YPA)
Passer rating allowed: 42nd (124.55)
Rushing yards per game allowed: 5th (59.33 YPG)
Rushing yards per attempt allowed: 5th (1.96 YPA)
Sacks: 21st (3 sacks per game)
3rd down % allowed: 11th (26.32% allowed)
4th down % allowed: 113th (100% allowed) -- This is tied for dead last in the country....we haven't stopped a 4th down conversion yet
TFLs: 17th (8.33 per game)
Red Zone td % allowed: 37th (55.56% allowed -- 5 TDs in 9 chances)
Red Zone Scoring % allowed: 90th (88.89% allowed -- 8 scores in 9 chances)
Punting: 55th (42.75 Yard average)
Team Stats:
Penalties: 129th (11.3 penalties per game)
Penalty yards: 127th (89.3 Yards per game)
Turnover margin: 6th (+1.67 per game -- 7 takeaways, 2 giveaways)
Time of possession: 27th (32:56 per game)
Number of offensive plays: 71st (200 plays) -- Somewhat misleading as some teams have played 4 games vs FBS, some have played 2 (Miami has played 3)
Advanced metrics:
Overall SP+: 30th (Believe we were 21st last week, and the highest ranked 2 loss team. No longer the case. Texas A&M now higher. Still above a lot of 0 or 1 loss tms)
Offensive SP+: 64th
Defensive SP+: 17th
Special Teams SP+: 80th
Of note: In average SP+ rating per division, the SEC West is #1. No surprise there. 16.7 average. The ACC Coastal? 9th, worst in the P5 and behind the AAC West. Wow.
Takeaways:
Holy ****balls, this team is dreadful on offense. DEAD LAST in sacks allowed. 128th out of 130 on 3rd down. 93rd in red zone TD %. Literally the only bright spot has been that the QB has not turned the ball over and has generally looked pretty good, when he's not being planted on his *** by a defensive lineman who went around our tackle like he was a parking cone. 64th in the country in offensive SP+ with this much talent is AWFUL. Enos and Barry should be ashamed of themselves. 100th in the country in scoring offense. 100th!!!! Mark Richt's offense finished 2018 with the 89th best scoring offense against FBS teams....24 PPG. We're worse through 3 games this year. So we can't score points, can't protect the QB, can't run the ball for more than 3 yards a carry, can't convert a 3rd down, can't score TDs in the redzone, but can't make FGs when we don't score TDs either. Other than that, everything is great. Woof. This is incredibly embarrassing for everyone involved.
On defense, clearly better than the offense, but how could it be worse? But, the step back from last season many of us anticipated is happening. 29th in YPP allowed, the pass defense is clearly nowhere near as good, the pass rush is not as good. The defense has been serviceable. Above average to good, as the 17th in SP+ suggests, but the eye test is not giving those same results. Too many busts, too much confusion, not enough havoc, too soft in coverage and not great tackling. But decent. If we had a Top 25 offense, there'd be a lot less grief on the defense. But they're being asked to fully carry the load since Enos and the offense has been a bumbling cluster**** of suck. 7 of 7 4th down conversions is really bad though. Yes, you're doing well on 3rd down. But you can't give up 7 out of 7 4th down conversions. And they haven't all been 4th and a foot. (Hello 4th and 18).
And then the penalties. ******* Christ. 129th in total penalties, 127th in yards per game. Are you ****ting me? How undisciplined can you be? Overall, there's really not a lot to be encouraged about here other than the QB not beating himself, the run defense overall has been very good, and I guess the punter isn't a national embarrassment anymore like last year. But there is so much work to be done here it's not even funny. Only a third of the way through the year, but I have no idea how anyone can think we have a good shot to win the division. Playing like this, VT, UVA, at Pitt, at FSU and probably at Duke are all going to be dogfights and possible losses. Unless there is massive, unforeseen improvement, I think this looks like a 7-5 or maybe 8-4 type season at best. To think anything better than that, the light better come on quick for the offense. And it needs to start against VT. They've given up 150+ yards rushing to all 3 teams they've played so far, and 2 of those were Old Dominion and Furman. Keep your eyes on the Duke/VT game this Friday. Duke has put up 40 in back to back weeks against their 2 cupcakes. It'll be interesting to see how the VT defense holds up against them in Lane on Friday night.
