I was at a restaurant last night and for some reason they were playing the Florida game from week 4. It was on the ACC network.

Honestly it looks like 2 different teams. The offense looks nothing like it does now. It’s amazing how physical we were on both sides of the ball. I’m assuming the drop off in physicality is the wear and tear of the season. Plus playing 7 straight conference games is tough.

Offensively we are so much more explosive now, Beck looks like a completely different quarterback and Toney is even more of a threat than then. Back then it seemed like we just said here’s what we do try and stop us. Now the offense really makes a defense think. Early season Beck really looked a little tentative vs now. It’s somewhat startling to look back on. And Pringle brings a completely different element.

Defensively that game seriously had to be one of the best games in 20 years. That’s the game Herbstrit said it looks like we have 14 players out there. I’m hoping that this 3 week break lets the players recover physically and mentally to get back to that level. They’ve been amazing all year but that game was next level.

Oh and that Marty Brown TD that was blown dead looks even more ridiculous 3 months later.

I said samething after watching @Dwinstitles hype video.. It made me go watch the FSU game back because it was first road game and big hype on road game with a dual threat qb to see how we responded.. We completely dominated that game for first 3 qtrs, team was prepared and locked in on both sides of ball.. That 4th qtr did **** me off again and we paid for it in coming weeks after, but I think we worked out those kinks for better..

Made me very excited to see what we have in store for tamu next week.. Like you mentioned, we knew 7 straight would take toll.. We will be juiced up next week
