Week 3 games

Lmao. Y'all listen to this review by the USC refs. Saying USC has the ball when they clearly do not

I'm sorry but you can't make this **** up. After the blatant cheating in the Michigan game. They show on live TV replay booth clearly lying to gift USC the ball that belongs to Rutgers. These games are 1 step below WWE. Talk about saving college sports.

FSU was coming off of a National Championship with a returning Heisman QB. The fact that they allowed themselves to get down to that mid Miami team was an indictment of them losing their edge. Even the worst teams in the country can put up a fight if you give them a ton of help...
Fsu had a ton of close games that year, and won em all.

Really good or great teams win close games at an extremely high clip. Doesn’t matter the composition of the opponent.

Last year we did the same thing against UF. Indiana won close games against mid Penn State and one dimensional Iowa. Carson Beck & UGA versus Georgia Tech. 2016 Clemson vs nc state.

Could find plenty examples of this happening. I agree they lost their edge after that, but that’s also largely attributable to their backup qb going on to win a national championship at Alabama, and the rise of Deshaun Watson with Clemson.

FSU played us close the following year, and did the same in 2023 too. FSU went 10-2 in the regular season in ‘15; lost to 3-9 GT & Clemson, that’s it.

The season is perhaps best remembered for the “Miracle on Techwood,” in which the Yellow Jackets defeated No. 9 Florida State on a blocked field goal return for a touchdown as time expired. The defeat was the Seminoles’ first ACC loss in 1,113 days

It’s a game Of inches for a reason. Even many elite champions can’t avoid a few close games; and sometimes they lose em (Ohio State 2024)
