Week 2 Top 25 Upset (Who you got?)

Texas defense last year stopped a better offense in 2018 uga in the bowl game and that game was more lopsided than the score indicated. I think Texas wins for sure

Rookie move putting that much stock into that game. UGA didn’t want to be there and that was Texas’s super bowl.

That game meant nothing. Same theory at Michigan vs UF. UGA was 1 quarter away from the playoff, and blew the game to Alabama. The next time they laced up their cleats was for that meaningless Sugar Bowl game while UT was building and trying to cap off a good year. UGA couldn't have cared less about that game. And as a matter of fact, I won a good bit of money on UT moneyline for that exact reason. UGA was close enough to a natty they could taste it (or at least into a playoff for one), and their coach ran a fake punt on 4th and 11 and that dream farted in the wind. No chance they were getting up for a who gives a **** Sugar Bowl.

No one is going out and playing to lose period as a player and as as competitor in any game. That’s a classic sec excuse of why they lose games like that but if they were to win the then it screams sec dominance over other conferences. That’s exactly how it works like clockwork.

Georgia just blew the SEC ship game to beat Bama and make the playoffs. They gave zero ***** about Texas. Your SEC inferiority complex is blinding you and forcing you to look for any reason to discredit them. This is a bad example.

I'm not gonna get into a long-winded debate about this, but nobody "goes out to lose". There's just different levels of motivation when you really play the game. Jimmy Johnson used to talk about this all the time. You can really only get "up" to play your best a few times a year. But do you do anything differently the weeks that you're not "up"? No. Do the kids prepare differently? Do they think differently? No and no. It's just something that happens that's not really explainable. But motivation is probably the single most important aspect of football. It was Texas' Superbowl. UGA was there feeling sorry for themselves. There's countless examples of games like this over the course of football history.

all that and the fact that was LAST year and a lot has changed since then including LSU hiring someone that can actually run an offense at LSU....

I love it when guys use the " well they did this LAST year or they did that LAST year".Players change.Schemes change.Motivations change.

Just cause something happened LAST year doesn't mean it will happen the same again this year.If that was the case we could all bet on Syracuse beating Clemson.....It MAY happen again THIS YEAR but it won't have anything to do with what happened LAST YEAR.

No one is discrediting them, it’s just facts. It means everything when they win bowl games but if they lose they “didn’t want to be there”. Sh*t gets old and the conference doesn’t have that credibility to be able to do that anymore imo

Dudes like DeAndre Baker didn’t even bother to show up and play in that Sugar Bowl. And he wasn’t the only one.

Lol you’re right they had no desire to play a ranked Texas team in the Sugar Bowl a month later 🤡🤡🤡

Where’s that Mike Leech speech

Actually he was one of the only ones. Regardless Texas abused them on both sides of the ball

When some of your best players literally don’t show up and the rest figuratively don’t show up, then that’s what usually happens.

Good luck judging this season’s results by all of that.

Who did that? All I said was that They showed up well against uga who was one of the better sec teams last year. I like How Herman coaches in big games and sam ehlinger at qb and Collin Johnson at receiver are legit. Texas has some monsters at db in bj foster and Caden sterns too

USC is too poorly coached imo. Talented? Okay I guess, I mean, they have fast players, but a bunch of them look like they haven't lifted weights since high school.

Don't know who saw this over the weekend, but this is honestly one of the funniest things I've ever seen on a football field when you talk about substance and context.

Clay Helton is probably on the hottest seat of any coach in the country. We all know this, SC fans know this, he knows this. He's been roundly criticized for his poor coaching pretty much since the day he got there.

So.....this is almost definitely his "put up or shut up" year, and truthfully probably only his September. He's a real candidate to get canned should SC start off slow again.

Here comes Week 1. SC vs Fresno. SC to receive the opening kickoff of the entire season. Literally, there should be NO confusion. No one's hurt, no one's tired, you've had 9 months to get ready for this game. Opening kick....SC returns it for 61 yards. **** of a start! Wait, there's a flag on the play. USC had TWO #7's on the field for the opening kickoff......penalty....negate the return. LOLOOLOLOLOLOLOL. You honestly couldn't be that inept if you tried to be!!! Literally how can that happen? You've written those 11 kids down for weeks. Nobody realized two kids had the same number on?!!?!? He's such a clueless moron. Lynn Swann is the only person more retarded for keeping him there.

I agree, but i still think they earn a victory on Saturday.
