A better road win by beating 5-5 Baylor, are you serious? They’ve beaten absolutely nobody, and they have Cincinnati next week.

There’s being objective, and then there’s being a complete ******* mope. You’re not looking at this objectively. Sure, they have better losses than us. However, they don’t have a single good win.

Their losses are better than our losses, and our wins are better than theirs.

Yes, Baylor is better than any road win we'll have. Our best road win right now is FSU, and Pitt isn't much better.

Do ours fans not realize that we have uniquely bad losses? No other team in contention has two unranked losses.

They will end the year with a better SOR. They're already right on our heels and play decent teams while we don't.

If we win our last 4 comfortably, including an impressive showing in Pittsburgh, there would not be much argument for having ND ahead of us. The only reason they are ahead of us right now is because they're playing so much better at the moment, but that would change with a strong finish.

Of course, we're more likely to go 2-2 than 4-0

If we win our last 4 comfortably, including an impressive showing in Pittsburgh, there would not be much argument for having ND ahead of us. The only reason they are ahead of us right now is because they're playing so much better at the moment, but that would change with a strong finish.

Of course, we're more likely to go 2-2 than 4-0

No I'm ****ed that our meathead coach can't win our joke of a conference. And I don't pop champagne when we beat Syracuse and NC St at home.

OU winning at Bama shrinks the at large bids by 1. We're going to be the odd team out, whether or not ND stays ahead of us.

I don't understand why this is tough for you. OU winning means that it may not matter whether or not we end up ahead of ND.

If we blow out our next 2 opponents, yes I think we may pass ND. (1) I still don't think that'll happen, and (2) it probably won't matter anyways. I didn't think OU would win 10, but now they will. There is 1 less spot available.

Ok 1 less spot if OU beats Miss and LSU

10-2 Miami will be ahead of Vandy, Utah, BYU, UT easy

that's #11 at worst, at that point
* Comparable to ND where H2H could matter
*OU has to win both
*Oregon has to win both
* Bama can't lose a 3rd in sec title

a lot of scenarios, and ACC isn't even dead yet

Miami won't be ahead of any of those teams "easy".

They would definitely not be ahead of 11-2 BYU if their 2nd loss is their conference title game. The committee set that precedent last year when SMU lost to Clemson and remained in the field.

Utah/Vandy will be close. I think we'd be ahead of 9-3 Texas, but in this scenario they would have won at aTm, so it's possible they'd jump us.

We have worse betting odds to make the CFP than Utah, Vandy, and BYU, BTW.

no we don't, just because it's on cnn doesn't make it true, you hope we don't get in, so you stay on your agenda with the coach

Enjoy the ride? Do you have the memory of a goldfish lol

The season, in all likelihood, ended 2 weeks ago. We play in the worst major conference and have never won it, including while being the biggest spenders the past 4 years.

The reality is that our program is in purgatory. Maybe we can make the postseason when it expands to 14 or 16. It's not self-pity to be objective.
