He looks good but Clemson looks like a bottom tier ACC team out there, their offense is horrid & the defense ain’t much better, their lack of talent compared to the glory days is jarring especially at QB..Stanfords QB is head & Shoulders better then Whatever the **** Clemson is trotting out there 😂
 
Obviously dabo accomplished much more, but it’s interesting to look back at the circumstances at the firing of James Franklin which felt like the first domino.

A double OT, one-score loss to no. 3 Oregon, a 37-42 loss to a winless UCLA w/ an interim HC followed by an awful postgame presser, and lastly a home 21-22 loss to 1-2 northwestern (who lost to Tulane) which sealed his fate.

I write all that to say—these were some **** close losses to a team that made the final 4 the year before. Dabo went 7-6 the year before, including a loss to interim coach Terry Smith led Penn State in the bowl game.

LSU is snatching Clemson’s soul. I wonder if Dabo even makes it to our game. But i also just wonder how this firing goes down bcuz Dabo doesn’t want to retire.

The last time a championship coach was fired—at the school he won the championship at—was Gene Chizik at Auburn and Les Miles at LSU. Even Mack Brown fake retired. Urban Meyer and ed o are a little different to me because scandals were abound. Hard to find a lot of comparisons on how this will go down. Larry Coker is one of the more recent examples.

Dabo will be unique because he has two titles.
 
Fam USC beat writers talk about losing Longstreet like they lost the golden child. I get this Elon transfer is talented but 56% completion percentage last year kinda sus. Elon went 6-6 last year lol. ……… interesting.
