I box score watched this one so not fully sure. But here’s what I saw thru the stats

Tulsa starts the game w/ a 3 and out.

First drive of the game OKState drives all the way down to Tulsa’s 3 yard line. It’s 3rd and 1 & ok state runs twice and gets stuffed twice.

Tulsa goes and kicks a field goal

In the second quarter, ok state fumbles but Tulsa misses the fg. Ok state drives to the 18 and gets a field goal to tie. Tusla runs 2 minute offense to perfection and scores before the half

Ok state opens the second half with another fumble, tusla misses the fg, ok state drives and turns it over on downs again on Tulsa’s 41.

Both teams get back to back touchdowns; 17-10 Tulsa leads. Then ok state has three turnovers in the 4th quarter (2 INT & turnover on downs) although the last one (int) was when the game was unwinnable.

Pretty much terrible 3rd + 4th down, lack of ball security by RBs and red zone offense by ok state is why they lost; could add aggressive / analytics decision making to go for it so many times. Their defense did well given the circumstances & they got some missed FG luck, but that wasn’t enough to claw back

5-16 on 3rd; 2-6 on 4th. OkState had 27 first downs and Tulsa had 15.

This Florida game will be interesting. FAU has been pretty bad the last few years but they bring back a lot of guys and their O can move the ball
