Our offense kind of went conservative "A Gap for Life" in the second half. People *****ed about it for days. One of more joyless Notre Dame victories we've had in some time. Defense bailed us out.

I think BOTH sides of ball did that, in multiple games but Dawson doesnt coach Defense.. The DC can still call his unit and not switch up, against FSU we just sat back and played off and started letting Castellanos get a rhythm up and down the field in 4th qtr.. That has nothing to do with A gap which I agree with overall but that does not dictate to our defense to play soft coverage is all I am saying
